Agreed...i hate him on the ice and think some of the things he does deserves for him to REALLY GET IT ONE DAY....but this is totally different when someones life is on the line or something serious happens...i dont think anyone in their right mind wants something bad to happen to the person......Good luck and a quick recovery...and i hope my islanders dont sign you..

We're the ones playing the Flyers, not NYR.

Flyers aren't so bad, they only intend to injure when they know, beforehand, that the play will result in a major penalty even without an injury.

They are growing soft!

Geee... i wonder why anyone would want to give Avery a cheap shot. I mean he's so likeable and stuff... or maybe its just karma catching up.

He's a pest. A darn good one. We all hate him for it. Still, would be incredibly upset if a cheap shot put his life in danger.

No, that's why they punch Habs while on the bench.

Here's to a speedy recovery, as much as some of you didn't like him, I've always wanted him back on the team.

Well, to be honest, his style of play doesnt make people want to lovingly tap him on the back or shake his hand. I had an uncle who died of a ruptured spleen and he never played hockey or got hit by anything. This may be hockey related or it can happen by itself.

Either way, Avery lives by the Sword so this is not surprising...

That was Hatcher's comment on the Bouillon hit. He appears to me to be a rocket scientist on his days off.

I get what your saying. We'll see more when the details come out, I guess.

I believe I had something to do with this.....You see I wished something very bad would happen to Sean Avery.

Maybe I should use my powers for good....

Can we get a padlock in aisle five? The Habs have a game tonight and this thread is going no where fast.

Best wishes for a speedy and full recovery to Avery
