Favourite Things about the Team this year

Some fans have been negative in these boards for the last couple days since the two losses. We are not out of out this series by any means.

I was wondering what people have enjoyed so far this season.

My favourites for the season is just enjoying a lot of young players develop.

Seeing Pleks become a 69 point getter from around 42 points a year ago was also enjoyable.

Also Price learning and excelling so quickly in his rookie season.

And saying the best for last; saying F you to all the critics when we came in first and no one thought we a chance at all to even make the playoffs.

What does everyone else think???

GO HABS GO 3 more wins

The good thing in general about this team is they're not lacking of talent. But talent dont buy intensity, hits and the willingness to pay the price in order to win in the playoffs while not paid north-american players can bring to a team.

Dont say everyone has been negative because its not true.
Most have been negative, but not all.

We have outplayed them 2 of the 3 games, things will change.

My favorite is time and time again prooving all the haters wrong.

Finishing 1st in the conference.

Watching the Kosty bros. emerge.

Kicking the Ruins' ass all season, topping it off with a Game 7 route.

Making fun of Leaf fans.

Knowing that Biron will remember he's Marty Biron and not Marty Brodeur sooner than later.

They represent the new generation of speed and skill. When they're operating at full potential, few things are more exquisite to witness.

My favourite thing about this season is that it brought us Jean-Guy Drouin.

My favourite is yet to come.
The Habs just need to keep up thier current level of play and they can and will win this series.

My favourite thing about this team is that it is classier than its fans.
And that Koivu is its captain.
If I were to say what my favourite thing about this particular season is, it's been watching all these youngins become stars and finish 1st in the EC.

I like the fact that we have a team full of young, talented players. The future looks bright for the Habs if we can keep everybody onboard.
I love that we finished 1st in the conference when all the hockey critics had us finishing 13th. I loved the fact that we haven't lost more than 3 games in a row all year...and the fact that we have shown we can comeback in every game we play if we need to. The game against the Rangers where we scored 6 unanswered goals was priceless.

So far, S. Kostitsyn and Carey Price. Both have become regulars a year ahead of schedule. Carbonneau. Also, great season from Kovalev. Andrei Kostitsyn's and Gorge's breakout years. Hamrlik and Smolinski as good UFA signings. 1st place in the Eastern Conference. Winning the 1st round in the playoffs. More pending..............

The arrival of Kost bros!

AND finishing 1st without having any goon in the lineup to "protect" our best players and "prevent" any serious injuries to them... while of course, not having any serious injury all year long!!!!

Now, if only people could understand how useless they are and unhelpfull during the playoffs (look at Hatcher or that stupid Hollweg!)... I'm so glad Carbo's not wasting any valuable roster space with one of them!

What?

Can you rephrase that?

----> while not paid north-american players can bring to a team <-------

Are you saying that the Euros are not paying the price and that North Amerians are?

If so, I do not agree. It is not a case of one group or another. Deal with it on a player by player basis. Not as a generalization based on nationality.

I think that we should pay our North American players.

Fact that we won the conference even if every single media outlet had us out.

That fact of that fat slob of Bob McKenzie and the rest of the TSN hockey "analysts" were proven wrong all year round.

"Montreal Canadiens will finish between 9-13" <--- pre-season guess.
"Montreal Canadiens are over playing their skill level" <---mid season when the Habs where 1st more then once.

/spits on TSN.
