It sucks that only 3 are chosen. I really think Julien should be considered. Oh well.

Boudreau will win but both three have done a great job.

you forgot discuss....

Carbo, he led a bottom, predicted to suck team to a championship without almost no help from his GM

Boudreau is second for leading his team to the playoffs

Babcock led a no 1 built team to a no 1 destiny that's it

Yeah you could really have 5-6 Jack Adams nominations this year.

I think Boudreau pretty much clinched it when the Caps locked up a playoff spot.

No surprises there. Though Julien deserves an HM.

I don't care who you remove but not putting Julien in is pretty dumb....

Boudreau wasn't there all year and he has the guy who'll win the Hart on his team while Julien has nobody that could ever dream of being close to a poor man's version of.....

if carolina never lost to florida boudreau wouldnt be in and it would most likely be julien in his place

Julien's team play the trap. No coach who advocates the trap should ever get a consideration IMO.

Except that I don't believe he's that much responsible for this last stretch of the season while Ovy and Huet played some great hockey and the Canes decided to lose against Florida. Again, I'm not dissing Boudreau, he could top 3 or at the very worst 4, but Julien IS a much bigger reason that they made it.

Hanlon had the guy who'll win the Hart and the Caps were still in the basement until Boudreau took over.

See my other post. Not dissing Boudreau but mostly praising Julien. Ovechkin was not playing the way he did when Hanlon was there. Boudreau helped them getting back in track, but Ovechkin is not a product of Boudreau's system.

Most Bruins are products of Julien's system though...

You could argue Ovechkin isn't, but Backstrom and Green weren't doing much until Boudreau took over.

Anyway I do agree with you that Julien deserves a mention...possibly over Babcock but it's just that hard to tell.

Boudreau, Julien, Carbonneau would be my list. Probably Boudreau with the win, he really inspired Washington. Julien did a masterfull job with a team that like the Habs were exepted to be bottom feeders, with much more adersity than the other two coaches: You could argue that Carboneau exceeded expectations, or is it the team that exceeded the "experts" expectations?

Backcock had a superior team in a lesser division (yes I'm going there) no kudoes from me.
