what the hell did you expect from a goalie who didn't play for 2 months ? He played great taken the circumstances. Habs offense ****ing sucks. Higgins ****ing sucks. Carbonneau put it on his goalies and they thought they were dominating this series while they have had the lead for 0 min and 0 sec. How can you expect your goalies to win you games when your ******* offense doesn't ****ing score.

How many goals is that for Umberger in this series? 5 or 6?

At some point Carbonneau might want to keep an eye on him...maybe Begin could be hitting him instead of Kapanen.

I do believe...If the team that played the first 83 games of the season shows up we will win but until then i don't see how.

I just want to see the Habs player WANTING it like they played after koivu's goal not like before just skating around hoping not to make mistakes...missing the net by 10 feet.

hey i thought price should start tonight after last game, honestly not a wagoner, i think price is hurt
not blaming halak at all for the loss
briere should have never been left open like that
maybe price would have seen that, why i like him next game, phenomenal puck tracking skills, plus hes big
bad steve hollweg play of course

It could be worse I guess....The Habs could be down 3-0 like teams in the other 3 series going on......Not looking good at the moment but 3 wins against the Cryers is not impossible...We just need the Habs from the regular season to show up is all.....

We not only need to win that game but we need a blowout to finally get the monkey (Biron) off our backs.

Thoughts

Pretty easy to know what we have to do better next game.

Have more than one f good save from our goalie and we might have a chance. I didn't mind so much the Carbo gamble before the game and I'm not going to change my mind. I'm not sure he would Price have done better tonight.

We had our chances, the other goalie with the werewolf eyes stopped most of them. We have to be more opportunistic and when the puck is bouncing tap in the f air if it's in the air and shoot it from the ice if it's on the ice.

Higgins skates around well in the zone, but doesn't bring anything right now offensively. Give Latendresse the chance and put Bégin back with Kosto and Smolinski. Put Higgins with Lapierre and Streit.

Bégin made a mistake, but I wouldn't point the finger at him too much. Their PP was better.

Overall they have been the better team because of their goalie. We have to win the next game thrice and score first the next two games, otherwise it's over.

It's not that bad, but it's frustrating to be so close and not be able to push it through.

Before next game I'd show the team highlights from the season and try to get them pumped up.

The good news is we only have to win one in Philly.
