Mr.Alex Kovalev

Where are you Mr.Rejevunated Alex Kovalev?

Do you remember the kind of heart and passion you showed for 82 games? Remember when 21,273 were on their feet applauding you on the last game of the season?

WHERE ARE YOU ALEX KOVALEV?

Because the last time I checked, you look like the Alex Kovalev of old?

Higgins-Koivu-Kovalev line doesn't work that well for his game IMO.

I perfectly understand why blame is put (and must be put) on Kovalev, but Andrei Kostitsyn is by far the biggest playoff bust I watched on this team this year. He's a definition of a non-impact player and could leech of off good support only.

Well in the game I watched, it started with Kovalev coming through center ice, his linemates no where in site, him dangling the **** out of 2-3 Flyers, being completely surronded by the rest, looking for someone, anyone to pass too and finally absolutley no one before loosing the puck

I don't really do this normally but I still going to say it.

It's a ****ing team loss. Man, it's ****ing easy to single out one guy all the time. Blame this guy, blame the other guy. Find the scapegoat.. Blame Kovalev because he didn't show up but what about the other guys? What about Higgins? What about Markov? What about the Kostitsyns? What about Streit who is playing so nervously on the point (how many breakaways did he allowed in the playoffs so far?) Do you see the point? Blame them as much as you want if that makes you happy. Ultimately, it's a ****ing team loss. Blame the game or the season on Begin... We kill the penalty and everything is forgotten but we didn't. We loss the game but we still have a chance to comeback.

your gonna actually talk about one individual forward? This isn't the regular season. Kovalev needs help. If you wanna whine about someone, make it Higgins. Zero hockey sense. Even Saku was pretty bad tonight. Besides being johnny on the spot and winning a few faceoffs, he wasn't good at all.

I saw Kovalev a tonne

Just rewind the video 2 seconds before a Flyer got a tape to tape pass from a hab player. 95% of the time that was Kovalev.

He can co-direct a film with Smokes on "How not to make a cross ice pass"

I like Kovy, but he did a lot of turnovers and he doesn't show up in the playoffs. What's wrong with stating the facts??? We're still fans, but Kovy was indeed one of the reason why we lost, because he gave away the puck way too many times and he did nothing offensively.

Kovalev doesn't seem happy on this line ... don't know why ... still the captain scored the tieing goal but it wasn't enough ... MR BEGIN took a great penalty : great timing! and mr. 3 foot 9 daniel briere scored the GWG

The Flyers have been doing a good job on Kovalev. They deserve a lot of the credit for his play.

He's hurt

did you guys not notice that i just doesnt shoot the puck?

He had a great chance in the third, cutting through the middle (as usual). Normally, he would rocket one off, but this time...he loooked for a pass, which turned into a turnover.

But the guy who's REALLY pissing me off is SK...dude...SHOOT THE ****ING PUCK!!!

How many times does he just wait and wait and wait and tries to make a useless pass???

There were two plays where he had the puck in great positions to shoot and tried passing it instead....

Just wish he would shoot more...

He, SK, doesn't shoot because he has one of the weakest shot in the NHL, goons included.

LOL are you kidding ?!

Sergei Kostitsyn has probably the 3rd best wrist shot on this team, after Kovalev and his brother !!

It's just that he always try to look for a pass first. He will learn this aspect and be more effective with more experience, but the kid can definitly shoot the puck !! I remember also on a 2 on 1 when he was on the right side VS the Sabres where he scored a beauty with a laser in the top corner left of Ryan Miller !!

The guy with a weak shot is definitly Saku Koivu and Francis Bouillon.

Kovalev is receiving the same checking that Ovechkin got. Ovechkin is a lot more explosive and could fight through the checking and basically could score with the snap of his fingers, but the Flyers did check him very well.

Kovalev is not as explosive as Ovechkin thus he is not going to score much.
