Draft Needs / Summer Acquisitions thread.

What do you guys think we need to add to this team through the draft/free agency?

I want to see us draft some big offensive centers, or get one through free agency.
- Players who can play in traffic.
- Players willing to go to the net.
- Players who know how to screen the goalie.
- Players that will sacrifice their bodies to make a play.
- Players with accuracy in their shots.
- Players who can adjust and not consistently shoot an area that has been the strong point of the goalie all series long.

Add your desires.

Players who don't waste shots on the PP (I.E. opposite of Streit).

If Streit wants more than three millions, I hope he's gone.

Sad thing is, there is not a lot of good offensive dmen this year.

We don't need it. We have Higgins!

I wouldn't resign him at all. I'm tired of him ruining our PP in the play-offs.

Habs have played well, Biron is playing well above his capabilities.

ie: Mike Fisher, Mike Richards, Brenden Morrow.

Why can't we ever have this type of player?

Didn't we draft Kostitsyn instead of Carter?

Biron is unbelievable. if it wasn't for him, maybe the serie would be different. but lets not play " if, but" game. we have to play better. we can beat Biron, we scored 2 goals in like 10 seconds in the thrid. it is possable that we can come back. i have faith in them. i am going to the game on saturday, i never been to a game where they lost, so have hope.

I agree with this, and I posted it once before . Skill does OK in the regular season but in the playoffs it's heart and grit(which Canadians are well known for). The top 8 Philly forwards and Canadian and if Gagne was playing it would be 9. Habs have one in the top 6 rest are Euro's. I think with experience and next season the Kosty's can play a tougher style but guys like Kovy/Pleks won't go anywhere near the corners or throw a bodycheck.
