honestly the point of halak was the hope that a goalie change would spark the offense. it didnt. we still had to go down 2-0 in order to score. So it really doesnt matter hu is in nets, we are losing in 5. So mite as well put in price and give him some more experience.

Price for sure. Halak was good tonight and its nothing against him but we need Price on his game to steal some for us and get us back in the series.

You have to put Price in, especially since we lost. I am in not way blaming Halak, but if he doesn't win it for us, you go back to the guy that got us here.

Let's hope Price becomes posesed, and plays awsome hockey.

Oh come on...whoever said Halak was good tonight needs to pull their ass out of their head.

He looked shakey all night and was weak on all the goals.

I guess this is why you keep a veteran like Huet and not 2 kids. The Habs spend 10 minutes dominating the play then get a weak goal coming back, nothing deflates a team more than something like the Umburger goal...that just kills you. I knew after that goal we were done, after that for most of the game guys like A.Kost S.Kost Higgins Kovy were trying to set up perfect plays instead of playing a more simple game.
The problem is the players still haven't gotten a lead for their goalies. It puts a lot of pressure on your goalie when you can't even score the first goal in 4 games straight.

where do these people come from?

the only goal that i would call a bit weak was the first one, he had the angle, but just wasn't committed i guess? then the 2nd goal, we actually get lucky and they hit the post...but what do you know, the puck somehow bounces right to their guy for the open net, i really don't remember the last time i've seen a puck bounce straight out like...anyway...i thought he played good, not great, but good enough to give his team a chance to win.

Price should definitely get the next start...but listening to Carbo's comments about his stats not being good enough to win...I am not so sure...I wonder if the coaches actually counted how many goals Price was totally screened on....and could not see a thing...or goals that were deflected into his net by his own players...ala Brisbois... it is a load of crap...

Price, for sure.

I thought that Halak was deep in his net the whole game. Terrible decision by carbo. I'm not just judging Halak from this one game. He just should never have been there. Price will be back and should be back. He will rebound and give us a chance to stay in the game with huge saves.

You go with Price and hope he rebounds well and steals a game for us......its the only chance we have right now.....nothing else is working.
Our powerplay certainly isn't doing anything and 9 times out of 10 when we shoot the puck at the net...we miss anyways.

At this point....we need to score 1 goal early and hope Price will get a shutout.

You gotta roll with Price! I got what i wanted this evening with Halak getting the nod, I was hoping for a win but i've been saying since after game 3 we should play Halak in game 4 and barring a shutout Carey gets game 5.
