This kinda looks like the Boston series.... reversed
Seriously, it's starting to look more and more like the Boston series, but where we are Boston (/puke) and Philly is us. We are outplaying the opposition, not getting any breaks, getting scored on by flukes, and on the other side a goalie who everybody thought would fold, yet he is the one saving his team, not to mention the least deserving team is leading 3-1. Anyways, you guys might not agree with what I just wrote but i truly believe in superstitions and fate/karma. If this holds up, we should win the next 2 and come back home for game 7.
Boston never outplayed us as badly as we are outplaying Philly.
i agree with OP... but this is also true... i only think we were slightly outplaying you guys from games 2-6, and it was pretty even in a couple of the games
But Philly... Biron has just been standing on his head.. and gettin a lot of help from the goal posts

A bruins fan... who isnt trolling?? Thank you sir.

Totally agree, I really don't get where some people think Boston should've won the series. They were slightly better than the Habs in 3 or 4 games, but even then things were still fairly even. Where as in the Mtl/Philly series the Canadiens have been dominating, it's not even close as far as puck possession in the oppositions zone and scoring chances.
Habs can still win this series, Flyers will not win another game in Mtl, the Canadiens just have to win one in Philly.

Except for one, maybe 2 games if you stretch it big time, no way that Boston outplayed Montreal by the same margin. No comparison at all
Boston never really took it to the Habs like they are taking it to Philly, but I did have a feeling that if Boston got the first goal in a game that the series could turn. I do think the Habs can comeback, but Philly are scoring goals at really key times this series. All I know is that if I was a Flyers fan I probably would have had double by-pass surgery by now, that team seems to be on their heals all the time!
This series can still turn in Mtl's favour, here's to Price coming back with no pressure and stealing us some games!
By your logic we will lose game 7 at home and that will be an even bigger blow than losing in 5 games. At least if they lose game 5 we knew it was coming and it's over with but if we go to game 7 it would only get our hopes high and then crushed beyond belief.

Lets win the next one and get it to game 6..... We'll worry about the rest later.

no, this is why i didnt say anything about game 7 lol. but unlike boston, we will be at home for game 7

I disagree.
Boston showed up in many games. They were scared like little girls in game 1 but after that were mostly fine. In most other games, all their players were showing up.
The Habs? Most of them are playing an awful, lazy game.
Outshooting Philly, yes. Outplaying them badly? I have to disagree. The Habs showed up for maybe 10 minutes total tonight (with a very few select player being exceptions... once again I have to point out Koivu, who is giving it all).
They were invisible for something like 50 minutes. How are you supposed to win a game when you show up for half a period?

I don't agree with that... they got quality chances throughout the game... The PP looked better than it has, but couldn't finish...
Throughout the series they have outplayed the flyers... look at the scoring chances... look at the posts.
The Flyers are owning the Canadiens on the penalty kill. The Flyers are scoring on their powerplay chances... that and Biron is amazing... not because of flukes or bad luck.
I have watched every game besides game 1 (i caught the first half). Montreal is not outplaying the Flyers, outshooting... yes. The Canucks outshot a lot of teams this year, and still sucked all the way. Most of the shots are perimeter as far as Ive seen, with the good chances turning into goals for the Canadiens.
Hate to say it, but had Montreal kept Huet, this would be a 3-1 lead in Montreals favour, Price's weak glove may have cost them the season.
Flyers = dark horse of the playoffs this year, they will lose in game 7 to Dallas.
We can't wait for them to score the first 2 goals and then start playing hockey. In game 3 and 4, as soon as Biron was scored on, he started to become shakey, and then less than a minute later, he'd let in another one. They gotta score on him early!
Anyways believe! Go habs Go!
