Canada's team is much better. I actually think the US have a better team then Russia aswell. Their defense and goaltending is pretty weak.

Those are stats I found this season for those two. No save percentages though. Both in the RSL.

For Alexander Yeremenko, I could only find stats from 2005-2006, when he posted a 2.01 GAA and .900 SV%.

Russia and USA are similar.

Korneev = Martin
Kalinin = Gleason
Grebeskov = Gilbert
Ballard = Markov

Those guys are all pretty sturdy and equal.

The rest on both teams are guys I don't know or #5-7 guys, respectively.

Last winter, I went to Ottawa to see Wsh vs Ott and it was the best game I've ever saw. Ovechkin finished the game with 4 goals and 1 assist.

I hope he will show no mercy against Italia.

Canada plays their first game today against Slovenia (game at 3:20 EST I believe). I think Canada's top two lines will be:

Speeza-Staal-St.Louis
Nash-Getzlaf-Heatley

Gonna be pretty tough to stop that. Speed, size and skill.

Yes, having Heatley and Spezza in the lineup is kind of a turn off, but i'll still probably cheer for Canada. Toews, Green, Burns etc.
