I think so far, the habs post season has been disappointing and not at all a reflection of the regular season.

Name the cliches you want, not enough experience, the playoffs are a whole new season, not enough north americans, bad referees, blah blah blah blah

The Habs are choking, plain and simple.

And that style of play just isn't good enough when your players fail to finish as often as we have the past two games.

We might steal the next one, but it's not going to Game 7.

So with more experience...
one or two key signatures...
Maybe on FA signing...
...and we're back in the playoffs, with a good chance of winning.

That said, watching the games untill now, I think Gainey moves could be unpopular. Playoffs right now shows that Habs allready have enough talent to control a game. I think he'll go for more grit that can score more than a Begin-type, and at the right time.

Still too cute, too fancy, too much play on the outside. It produces lots of shots and the rare blowout win, but without great goaltending (game 4 Bos) and/or lucky bounces (game 1 Phi), doesn't win the close ones.

I think the comparison to the 05-07 Sabres is accurate. Fast & talented, but not tough enough to get it done in the post-season.

Don't bother calling me down for saying this either, I am a loyal Habs fan but I refuse to say they will win the series when all signs are pointing at NO.

You can keep 'em Beaker, we got enough problems over here with guys ready to tank next season before this year's even over.

We are done!

Just shows you how important size is in the playoffs. Habs need to get bigger up front. Can't rely on only 4 guys to throw a team's worth of body checks.

It takes size, toughness, and guys in front of the net bothering Biron. An the Habs have none of that.

Our time will come, just not this year.

I believe en esti.

I refuse to give Philly credit to lead this series. I rather say Habs are extremely unlucky. Philly is only more opportunist than us that is all.

If Carbo wears his magic tie, the curse will be reverse and we will next 3 games.

It's not over until we lose the 4th game...anything is possible. I know it's possible but at this stage we have to focus on one game at a time.

I would say NO! The problem which of course is Biron! Montreal has owned the play but not the score. I'm affraid they may be running out of gas after everything they've thrown at Philly?? Time will tell???

I said before game 4 that the team that wins it wins the serie.

But I keep a hope somewhere inside me.

Good thread to expose the losers. Not that they weren't pretty obvious already.

NO we are not done.

<cue Harvey Keitel "Bad Lieutenant" voice> "A series is... 7 games !!"

At least WeThreeKings hasn't come here to cry yet. Hopefully Angrychair and the rest of the "I'm too mad to live after a loss" crowd are out for some happy pills too.

7 GAMES IN A SERIES !!!

Dio

We won until that Hitler youtube video, as soon I watched that we lost all the games.

Can someone create one "against the Habs" so we start winning some games.

That is the curse!!!!
