As for me, the PP really pisses me off. I try to remain as positive as I used to be, but I can't. I can't refrain from cursing them during the PP. Man, I'm so frustrated.

I wonder how we could be #1 in regular season. How ??? Why ???

I guess the most would have to be the PP but there are other serious concerns such as kovy, Pleks and Ak playing with zero intensity...The playoffs surely highlight the REAL hockey players.

We've dominated 12 of the 13 periods we've played against them.

I think we suck even more for not taking advantage of it.

3- Carbonneau with some ridiculous decisions as usual (Letting Higgins play that much, scratching Ryder, playing Dandenault, Using Begin when there's 3 minutes left in a tie game, etc.)

4- Habs got beat by a marginal goalie not too long ago.... again.... (Biron)

Like I said already, there are other serious concerns and certainly you make some very valid points.

It's a mini Bulis. Really, really small. It's good for the heart.

It's just that I've been watching the games and, well, the Flyers...they are not very good at all. It's just all so sad.

It's not luck either....it's that we are not penetrating the crease. It's all just so, so sad really.

Still, Habs in 7!

What shall we use for punctuation and added emphasis then?

-The complete lack of intensity in front of Biron. I don't think anyone went 2 feet near him last night. How are we 3-5-6 feet away from him when the point shots come in baffles me. We should be fighting with the D for a spot just outside the blue paint.

Latendresse (and others but him specifically because he has the hands and the size) needs to get in front of the net. And by front of the net I mean in Biron's face. I don't understand. If you look at all the goals in the playoffs so far. How many came from pretty passes and set plays? 5%?
You have to get pucks to the net but if there are no bodies in front it's pointless. The only guy doing this now is Kostopoulos and he simply doesn't have the ability to finish.

- Markov and Komisarek : All I have to say is I hope they're injured because they look like shadows of themselves out there.

-Mark Streit on the point: How many times is this guys going to turn over the puck on the powerplay?

-The perimeter play. In the playoffs, you have to want the middle of the ice.

I have to give credit to the Flyers. They have had the better goaltending and better D in this series. They also are doing everything the right way to beat a speedy skillful team like the Habs and they have taken a 2 goal lead in every game so far.

My opinion anyway.

I have to agree with you. What's matter with Markov and Komi ?
I'm very happy with Gorges performance though.

Soft turnovers. Losing one-on-one battles everywhere. Biron's luck!

Finding out that Higgins, Latendresse and Lapierre are overrated and should be moved. I needed to see them in a playoff series to how they react and how they play. I am not impressed.

What is frustrating is that we are an east/west type of team with nobody willing to stand in front of the other teams net and battle. Doesn't do much good to stand beside the net and let the goalie see the puck and hope he gives up a rebound. It doesn't happen.

Also frustrating is getting beat by a third line forward with a hot stick. I could probably accept being down 3-1 if it was Briere scoring two per game, or Richards and Carter. However, when R.J. Umberger lights it up, all I can think of is John LeClair over and over again.

100% right about what? Looking at the stats on nhl.com ? He's suppose to be an hockey analyst right? Shouldn't he be writing about why the PP isn't as good?

Lack of grit and intensity from guys like Komisarek and Hamrlick.

Kovalev doing a ghost act.

Biron...Biron...Biron! I know he doesn't have to be getting dangerous shots but he stops everything.

And someone should put Hamburger down once and for all. He's become our Erik Cole of 2008.

.
In the last game we were doing nothing. Then Carbo puts the Kosto-Smol-Lats line on the ice and they creat something...almost scored! And then we almost do not see them of that period...of that match! The presence of Lats gives the Habs a chance to come back in the game. And Carbo doesn't play him. I'm not a big fan of Lats but I saw what I saw.
