I'm a Poutine pionneer, a designated consultant. I've introduced 4 Poutiners to Clover for criminy sake.

The Pretzel in question is the Sacred one that appeared one Decmber long ago, amidst a losing streak, turned tasteless, broke, but still resides in my desk drawer.

When luck is needed and all else fails, we turn to it for one last streak. I fear it's powers have eroded and that Bill may nuke Glengarry County if it is ever mentionned again. So, maybe I'll eat it. I'm only 10k from GlenGarry Memorial.
You should have the preztel on some sort of habs shrine beside you for game 5.

I can bring it to Moncton next week, a few cold ones will dull the old taste buds.

I knew we should have executed you for treason a long time ago... Keeping you alive for our entertainment was selfish.

I'd like to take this time to point out that the Poutine thread first appeared the last time the Habs were knocked out in the first round. Coincidence? I think not!

I had fries with ketchup for lunch today, and they were great! I'm boycotting poutine to show my support for the Habs. I will not have another poutine until they've been eliminated.

The Holy Pretzel will bring us victory!

It's threads like this that could endear the beligerent fans from Ottawa and Boston if they, indeed, had a sense of humour... scratch that, humanity.

Poutzel for the game 5 win! (not that I can find either here in Japan... so many good things, so few IMPORTANT things...)

I don't want to start a war.. though I'd like to point out that the Poutine thread was a Caroline Board thread..

Do you know who won the cup on 06?

Maybe if I have it around my neck on Saturday. Either that or get Streit to pass to Kovalev on the right boards on the pp, either one could help.
Careful not to get it caught in your colostomy bag.

At least it made it to the second round with a much lesser team than what the Habs have now! I mean if the Pretzel is capable of carrying a team with Pierre Dagenais on the second line to the second round, it's power truly is formidable.

...since mcphee discovered it, the answer is 0, but before that the Salty Grail had it's influence on the Stanley Cup playoffs since before any of our time (well except maybe Gros Bill, who I believe coached Howie Morenz as a kid).

I'm gonna point out that the freatest Habs Dynasty of all time came shortly after the discovery of Poutine.

POUTINE RULES ALL.

It had fries. Cheese AND Sauce. I don't understand how people argue against that.

Deceiver and usurper - your idolatry was responsible for Koivu's eye injury and the Habs subsequent loss of the series against Carolina.

PEOPLE PEOPLE.

Stop listening to these non-believers.

They are leading you strait towards failure and despair. Down the salty winding road of pretzel Hell.

The Pretzel has failed us time and time again.....

But has never let us down.

The choice is clear my friends.... the choice is clear.

Poutine let us down the day it allowed Justin Williams to win the cup.

Poutine is the reason Latendresse is overweight.

Poutine has caused the Habs to lose their way in these playoffs; it's clogging their arteries, and hindering the blood flow to their brains. The resulting increase in brain farts and decrease in energy are there for everyone to see game after game.

Poutine will kill us all if we don't put a stop to it!
