Our 2 goals last game showed that Biron is mortal. It's time to open the flood gates.

Exactly, and I have the impression that when you beat Biron one time, he seems less confidence.

Look at the last game. When we scored the 1st goal, after that, you could see that he was not in his bubble anymore. He was more nervous.

So, we have to score the 1st.

This can be done. If we score on HALF the chances we get, we'll destroy them 3 in a row. Oh, and Carey will play like a god I'm sure. You know... ego, pride and all...

GO HABS GO!!!

Kudos on thinking up a novel way to post pad.

Superfluous point to keep Beaker from merging: Do you think that Ryder will dress for game five?

No...short of an injury on the front end, he'll stay in the box...

The questions is...will Ryder's antics be distracting to the players?!

GO HABS GO!!!! We Believe, time for the magic of 08 to start unraveling. Everyone wear no. 11. The flyers will crap themselves.

I'm not as certain, with the Habs offensive struggles and Ryder's sometimes deadly shot there is still a chance he sees some action.

Who will be the starter? IMO it's got to be Price.

Not at all...I doubt any of them really noticed nor should his actions be considered "antics"

His paper airplanes are more of a result of a resigned fate than being a complete tool

It's all in Carbo's hands now. Put the best possible team on the ice and we win the game. Go with the players that you personally like,.... Sayonara and see you next season.

Price for sure...

Back to Ryder though...

I just dont see him being effective on the third or fourth line and that was proven throughout the season. For Mike to be effective, he needs consistant top 6 minutes, which he won't get here.

Edit: On second thought, would a Higgins on the third line, Ryder on the Koivu line be effective?

They could use him on the 4th line (limited exposure) and then on the Powerplay. Despite his failings Ryder still has nose for the net.

Speaking of the PP, What do you think of Carbonneau moving Kovalev or Koivu to the point (in place of Streit). Maybe show Philly a different look, Kovalev shooting from his office (half way up on the right hand side) and the cross ice pass just isn't getting it done.
