Loss.

Get Lapierre and Streit the **** out.

Chipchura and Stewart. I don't care about experience, these two guys will dig in corners, and get in front of the net. That's all we need right now. Not fast word hard, do nothing of subtance Lapierre and shoot at shins Streit and lose foot race and make goalie make breakaway save Streit.

I don't know about putting Stewart in, but I like the idea of a Streit/Lapierre-Chipchura-Lantedresse 4th line.

I want to see what A. Kostitsyn can do with Koivu, we never saw those two together. I think Andrei can finished Koivu's work more than Higgins.

A. Kostitsyn-Koivu-Kovalev
Higgins-Plek-S. Kostisyn

OR

A. Kostitsyn-Koivu-S. Kostitsyn (I have a feeling this could be a devasting line)
Higgins-Plek-Kovy

Oh and yeah, put Ryder in, with Lapierre and Streit or something, Ryder can score important goal when nobody is expecting it.

I never liked it before. But he's fast, he's a grinder. He'll fight. He'll got the front of the net. He'll take a hit to make a play. Which is more than Lapierre can say right now.

Chipchura needs to be in though. The man can make our dump-ins work better. Chipchura is a god on the boards, we're losing a lot of board battles and at the least the Flyers are making it scrambly which makes it harder for our skilled players to get to work.

Switch A. Kost to the right wing.

Honestly, I that sounds a lot more like Streit than anything. Lapierre works hard, hits, and does take hits to make plays..he just has no hockey vision is essentially useless as a centre. Mute him as winger to make room for Chips as centre and you'd have yourself a decent 4th line.

Streit is just a soft little pansy.

Is Chipchura healthy? I'd love to see him in over Lapierre.

It's not hate, just think that line could use a change because they are constantly hemmed in their own zone. I don't see Streit being scratched (PP purposes, as gnarly as they've been) and Gui's done alright (hitting and going to the net)... that leaves Lapierre. Plus I'm a fan of Chipchura's game and strength.

Same here, since the PP isn't working, Streit is a not usefull for the team. At this point of the season though, it's not really time to tweak the lineup, you go with the guys you used down the stretch.

Get that entired 4th line out.

New lineup should be

Higgins - Plekanec - Kovalev
Kostitsyn - Begin - Kostitsyn
Grabovski - Koivu - Kovalev(x2)
Stewart - Smolinski - Kostopoulos

Markov
O'Byrne
Hamrlik
Komisarek
Brisebois
Bouillon
Gorges

Play 7 Ds. I don't care what the pairings are, but so far in this Philly series out Ds have sucked and they need to pick it up. Dress our 7 regulars, reduce their ice time and find some pairings that actually work.

Up front the Kostitsyns will have a smart two-way presence that can crash and bang and make space for them. Higgins-Plekanec-Kovalev is a new combination so lets hope it works out, and Higgs can start burrying his chances. Koivu Grabs on the 3rd line along with Kovalev being double shifted should be a great line too, and we'd finally have three lines that can actually score and play well.

I'd try this.

Exactly my thoughts. Why the hate on Lapierre?

PP against Philadelphia = 22,2 %
PP during regular season = 24,2%

...

I wouldn't mind those lines as long as Carbo doesn't insist on rolling four lines. If Tender-Lapierre-Streit is out there as much as those other three lines then we're in trouble. I know he's done this all year but at this point in time, against this opponent, we have nothing to gain from it.

We need goals but you want to downgrade the lineup in terms of skill?

But... but... Streit is so versatile and can add so much to our fourth line!

And he's so good on the PP!!!

I hope this guy signs with the Bruins for the ridiculous amount of money he's gonna get.

I think Carbo should switch up the Kosty brothers. Sergi is a great passer... he'd be good at getting the puck to Plekanec & Kovalev. Andrei has a great shot... Koivu & Higgins would be good at getting him the puck.

I would have put Ryder in instead of Streit, but apart from that, I'm okay with these lines.
