Well one got went from first in the East (by quite a margin) to getting swept in the first round, while we eliminated the other.

I can't say I really care what either fanbase thinks. It's always cute to hear Sens fans with their usual "well, I would be cheering for the Habs if it wasn't for their fanbase being so classless...blah blah blah."

That thread from a while back about whether the Habs could pass the Sens in the standings brings a smile to my face as well.

If we lose they are the ones who will start insulting us before we even have time to think about it. Just look at last game, instead of enjoying their win the trolls came here to insult us...

To paraphrase Oscar Wilde, it's better to be mocked than to not be spoken of at all. At least ya'll are thinking about us when you should be sending positive vibes to your team.Cherish every last ounce of today, I mean, c'mon, this could be your last game this year. Then what will you do next Saturday night? Hopefully celebrate another win. Maybe not. Like a lot of Sens fans, l was "born" a Habs fan. I saw many a Voyageurs game as a kid and everyone l know from Halifax is a rabid Habs fan. The Senators are still growing, we are like a teenager, while Mon/Bos/Tor are all like crotchety old men. Sorry for babbelling on, peace and love for all Canadian Hockey Fans!!!(except toronto's)

Yes, it is nice to see all the Sens fans care so much about the Habs.

Isn't this hypocrisy? You're talking about Bruins fans being pathetic, yet you keep insulting a lot of Bruins fans based on a small sample of 5-10 fans.

Fans have a right to be upset when their team loses. It didn't help that a lot of people came on the Bruins board to gloat after every single win.

Ask your brother to give you the light for cheering on a real team.

This is the best Habs season I've lived through that I was old enough to actually follow and know all the players.

So basically you have over 10 threads with a average of 5 pages in it insulting our team and our players and you say that it only a small sample? This is hypocrisy my friend. Anyway I lost all the respect I had for the Bruins fanbase, you are 1977 Ford Pinto with two speeds, whining and bit**ing.

You know, I'm not so sure. Some of those delusional fans have this strange sense of entitlement for this season. I'm like, whoa. One game at a time, one series at a time. If we win, this will have been the best season I've witnessed since I've been watching the Habs. If we lose, this will have been the best season I've witnessed since I've been watching the Habs.

Sorry, but there is no rivalry that comes close to that of the Habs/Bruins in the NHL. I doubt you see the same bitterness with Habs/Flyers fans.

The Bruins fans were so freaking pathetic last week, let try to be more classy than those guys (which should not be hard to be honest).

Our team is still very young and anything can happen, but I don't think we could expect a Stanley Cup this year. The best is yet to come.

So please, let stay classy !
Your request for Habs fans to stay classy contains a shot at bruins fans?

Now thats class
