That would be ****ing awesome. People who actually know what's going on. Plus I've always liked Pierre. Apparently I'm in the minority, based on what I've read on HFboards this year.

Dare to dream.

In the 2002 Olympics Cole kept on saying the Leafs net or the Leafs zone instead of Canada. Nice.

I like him too. But his new nickname is funny as hell.

That being said, Bob Cole is an awesome hockey announcer. I've posted this in other threads, but I don't need Bob to explain the action to me, or identify the players. I know who they are. What Bob is amazing at is the delivery, like a bunch have people have said, they'll never forget his cal of the Habs winning in 93.

From tonight.. don't know what was happening at the time, but obviously I'm not the only one:

"Nothing was about to happen, but it almost... did."

Comparing coverage of both of the Flyers series is crazy. They just show so many intricate things on TSN and they talk about line-matching in-depth and things like that. On CBC, they spend five minutes over-analyzing whether or not Richards touched the puck when one look at the reply showed no batting motion means it's a goal.

That was probably his best work tonight,

Close 2nd goes to his "Scccoooo - ooo" calls in which he thought two pucks were cleary in the net when they were in fact good scoring chances and nothing else

I can't remember what game it was but this season he was baffled why a team wasn't given a penalty for shooting the puck over the glass. It was clearly the team on offence that did it. He also spent about half a game this year referring to Emery as "Lalime".

price kinda misplayed the puck or tossed the puck up the boards and then seemingly nonchalantly went back into the net but the play was strange, it seemed price played the puck to his team mate and skated back to the net, but his team mate missed or the flyer intercepted and then let off a shot about as weak as a 2 year old that bounced and went to price, eventually, barely haha
