I don't know what to say but I hope the players aren't as rattled as I am... after that Hartnell goal I just curled into a ball in the couch and watched quietly... I still think they'll come out flying and give it all they've got. Could be twenty until golf time, so they'll do their best and I think we'll bring it to OT at the very least. I need time to digest, thank god for intermissions!

GO HABS GO, please? I'm not ready to be done of hockey watching!

We know it, the fans in the Bell Centre know it... it's just not meant to be

It's a hard pill to swallow, being that we have outplayed the Flyers pretty much every game (even in the regular season)

I hope we keep pushing until the horn sounds, that way we can all be proud of our team.

Do not roll over and die!! Give 'em hell, 'till the end!

Go Habs Go!!!

This is probably the worst goaltending Ive seen in the post season since I started watching hockey. Just sad.. The fowards and Defencemans are playing a great game, what a shame..

What the hell. Players wont get anywhere if they don't have adversity.

Flyers adjusted easily, there is still 20 minutes to switch it up and tie/win the game.

I guess Bob can't blame anybody but himself, he was the one that traded Chris for a f$%% 2nd rounder. Maybe the 2nd rounder can play nets in the 3rd instead of Halak.

Man oh man, we are making Hamburger look like Gretzky. Either our goalie is @$$$ or these guys got the most luck I've ever seen from a team. Hamburgers wrap around with the goalie there and it still finds a way in. A gloved goal?

Ah well....one more period. Just seems like everytime we score they will come down and have some fluke one go in off of Hamburgers head or something.

Give me a break, Huet wasn't exactly great in the playoffs this year either and he was awful in big games during the season. Price is the better goaltender.

This doesn't excuse Price's play in this series, but he's the reason the team made the 2nd round in the first place. The Habs had no business winning game 4 against the Bruins (and, to be quite fair, I don't think we should have won game 2 either).

Because he's not Roy already, people overreact. And not just Hab haters. The team just doesn't have it and Carey being off his game shows how lousy our defense is and how much we rely on our goalie. I still think, season's over. Things just aren't going our way. A bigger, grittier, more sizable team would change things.
How can you say the team just doesn't have it? We were up 3-1 and dominating and Price gave up softy after softy. His career is far from over, but he is no longer our goalie for the rest of these playoffs.

They've done more to shock me than win a game like this this year, but things look grim now. And there was so much hope at 3-1, too.

This game has, ultimately, been more of the same: the Habs flubbed too many chances, while the Flyers convert an inordinately high percentage of theirs. Groundhog day in action. For a moment it seemed like the Habs would be able to make up for it in volume, and they even were starting to get some puck luck going their way... but it wasn't to be.

While Price certainly looked weak on the third goal, I'm extremely impressed by the Flyers' shooters and the number of goals they've scored with shots that were so accurate they went off the post and in. I doubt that kind of accuracy is really sustainable, but it's lasted long enough to put the Habs in a deep hole, and possibly more.

can't really blame him for a puck off a guys glove. You wonder what Hamrlik is thinking on the third goal even though its weak?

Montreal has simply made some bad plays and mind boggling lapses. You can't blame all that on Price despite deserving a lot.

Yeah, he really seems like the type of player who lets one bad playoff run affect him permanently.

Just like Marty Turco. Oh, wait a sec... isn't he dominating this season?

And like MA Fleury. Hang on, same thing. He also bounced back. If ****ing MA Fleury can bounce back after getting booed out of town during his first stint in Pitts, somehow I think Price will manage.

They started whiffing on easy saves and wraparounds...when your goalie starts giving up weak goals it cuts your legs out.

you win as a team, you lose as a team

how many times has a defencemen ****ed up this year and it cost us a game?

I STILL BELIEVE!
I have no regret that we traded Huet away, and I'm confident Price will rebound next season, but he's sucked for a long while in the playoffs now. Which is understandable since he's only 20 years old. But people thinking the fault is not on Price aren't watching the same games I have.

*** is wrong with Carey Price? And if you are going to use his age as an excuse, then *** is wrong with Bob Gainey for forcing the kid in this situation?!!!

Wow If we pull this one out of the fire it should be Halak rest of the series. This is some serious **** goaltending.

Injured, tired, or just young.

I'm not worried, he'll get better. Most 20-year-old goalies don't win playoff series, after all.

For all you say we were dominating, the Flyers created all those chances, and the D did nothing to help.
