They are saying that evidently the Kostitsyn brothers are going to the tournament with most likely Grabovski.

Koivu still thinking about it.

Mark Streit who played with a back injury (like Komisarek) don't know if he can go and Markov won't go because he has a leg injury.

Didn't Kovy centre Ovy and Malkin at the Olympics?

I wonder if Plekanec will play for the Czech Republic. I'm sure they need him since one of their only other notable forwards is Jagr who's still in the playoffs.

RDS is reporting that Russia doesn't want Kovy on the team, because he's too slow.

Somebody tell them nobody plays on an "International Ice" during this tournament. These will be North Americans arena. Man the Russian federation are clueless.

In my opinion, Streit dont' want play for Swtizerland because he's without contract for the next season. A serious injury could cost him several dollars. I'm disappointing.

I think two Grabovsky and perhaps Grabovsky will play with Bela.

No, especially considering the Ovy and Malkin weren't on the same line and that Malkin is a center himself.

Russia already has 13 forwards on its roster with 5 of them being right wings. While it's Bykov that actually selects his team, where do you propose the clueless Russian Hockey Federation stick Kovalev?

According to a Beloruss site, pressball, Grabo is expected to join the team tonight, while the Kostys are taking care of some CH related stuff but are expected to join the national team soon. The hope is they can be there in time for Monday's game against the Swiss. It would be fun to watch a dynamic trio in action, too bad RDS/TSN brodcast only Canada's games.

The Kostitsyns and Grabovski to join team Belarus?

Some Belarus posters seem to think so. IIHF rules say players can join their respective team after game 3.

So are the Kostitsyns and Grabo going? I would think yes, since the tournament is in Quebec/Halifax. Very close from here.

That would give a team that just ONLY lost 6-5 to SWEDEN yesterday a real 1st line. Also Salei could be joining them. Maybe they could cause a surprise?

That would certainly give us something to cheer for again.

GO BELARUS!

Whatever, let him rest.

Making a big mistake though, if they had Ovechkin, Kovalchuk and Kovalev on the PP they'd be unstoppable.

This sounds political to me. Someone making these decisions, for whatever reason, just is hell bent on keeping Kovy down. Don't know how else to explain it.
