Latest Habs Problem

Apparently the Team is having problems getting good tee-off times.

It seems the Leafs, Bruins, and Senators have booked all the good times well in advance.

I'm down for golf... Unfortunately, I don't own a car... I played twice in my life and shot 101 and 96... but went several times to the driving range...

If I were in Montreal I'd be all over that. I usually shoot around 100. I just got a new set up Taylormade r7 irons and I'm hitting the range starting tomorrow. Hoping to shave 3-4 strokes off this summer (I'm keeping my expectations lowered).

How is it trolling when

1) I'm a Habs fan
2) I'm making fun of the Bruins, Leafs and Sens on the Habs board, which is allowed.
3) I'm the moderator of this damn board....

HOLY JEEBUS.....
This is incredible.

Nice set... I don't think I need to remind you of the following maxim: great golf clubs doesn't automatically make a good golfer... great technique and composure do...

I know, but I had to replace my hand-me-down Dunlop starting set with something.. and they weren't that expensive and one of the few sets I could get a 2 iron without paying more.

I'm taking lessons this season. I didn't improve much last year, so I've got weekly lessons starting in May.

Your club face is too closed or too forward should i say when you hit the ball. You should make sure that when you start your swing, your club face is open to compensate.

I personally love playing golf on a beautiful day. It's not my favorite sport but it's great fun when you're with a few buddies. I took a golf course for gym this semester so that improved my game. I wouldn't mind playing a round or two sometime!

Or he place the golf ball in the middle of his stance? You should place the ball forward in your stance since the fact that with the driver, you need to hit the ball in the upswing...
