Talk about abuse of power.. by a global moderator, of course, we are very very dumb in here..

eh???... AHAHAHA off course i am kidding. Why would a moderator with a Flyers avatar would be trying to stab us about talking golf.. yeah yeah.... thats ok, the posterS make the board, not the moderators.. mouhahaha, of course i am kidding, I have been in this board since 8 years. Hopefully i will not be ban to commenting a on a post. I would have tought a moderator, know the use of key words in key situations, either you do very well, or ..... I guess.. than you are just a little naive (wich is not an insult, Price even is naive and full of potential )

BTW.

Good luck to Philly against the Pens.. the only problem with the Flyers is that there reservation is already canceled... they tought the would be there around april.. but eh, God was kind enough to let them play a little bit more.. but at the same time punish them as they will have same problem has canadiens.. in exactly 10 days. (am i allowed to make predictions?)

110 for my first game

Easily could have broke 100, I messed up so many times with my driver.

110 isn't bad for the first time out.

Still hooking to the left with your driver? I remember during my first round ever, I missed the first three shots with my driver (out of bounds + 2 complete shanks) and then decided to go with my 4 iron for all the remaining tee shots.

That's what I did for me entire first season. That winter, I got a stiffer shaft on my driver and went to the indoor simulator once a week and only hit my driver.

A great tee shot improved my game by about 20 strokes.

Now I really need to work on shots inside 100 yards. It seems that no matter if I hit a PW, SW or AW it goes 100+ yards. I'm overshooting greens left and right (not actually left and right, I can hit pretty straight).

I'm hitting 120 yds with my PW and about 100-105 with my SW. In your case, you should go with the club you feel most comfortable with for the 100 yds shots. Check how many yds you hit with either your PW or SW (with a perfect contact) and then try to go with a 3/4 wind-up if you still overshooting.

Yeah it's the 3/4 and 1/2 swing that gets me. It seems it doesn't matter. That's one of the things I want someone to teach me in my lessons.

For what it's worth, on a full swing I get 150-170 yards on a PW, 130-150 with a SW, and 80-100 with an AW. I don't carry a SW in my bag when I'm playing by the rules, though.

Considering the unbelievable luck you (Philly) has had lately, if that carries over to the golf course (which is gonna be in about a week), expect a lot of Umberger hole in ones, punched in by Richards glove...sorry....shoulder.
