Who is the bigger team- DET or HABS

It is assumed by many that the Habs are a small team that needs to get bigger like a DET team. Here are some interesting stats that shows differently. Also shows that the Habs are a heavier team than Philly. Or too many Euro's? What about how young the HABS are....

We're older than I thought. I thought it was closer to 26 to be honest. I guess that was when Breezer and Smoke were injured.

Chelios (46) and Hasek (43) skew the Wings' average age.

I like this post if it was partly a statement that the "Too many Euros" excuse that some people smear on the Habs is a complete joke

I'd be interested to see how the forwards for each team match up height/weight wise.

philly is 73.14 but yeah

either way, the difference in height and size is skewed imo given koivu is one of our smaller guys, he plays bigger however, he does get beat on plays at times but he also will and does win his share of puck battles to compensate, how many times was he beat by a carter, richards etc that lead to goals? (im not honestly sure i can only think of 1 play in game 4 off the top of my head), conversely how many times did HE beat someone to the puck and score a goal in the series?
the same needs to be analyzed for pleck as well.
in the end, if it ends up being that pleck and koivu lose the battle constantly and are producing less than their opponents in that respect, changes are needed, otherwise the only change that is needed is for their respective wingers to be bigger and/or learn how to play bigger.
