im trying to gain muscle, but feel weird leaving the gym without any cardio done. so i usually do the stationery bike on hill setting for 15 mins after every workout. So my quesion is should i be doing it before or afterlifting and how many times a week if i lift 4 days?
I ride the stationary bike for 30 minutes after every work out. I do my 15-45's after working out. I run at least a mile a day. Most days two or three. then i have been riding my bike to school instead of driving. My cardio has never been this good.
From what I've read in the past, you should do your cardio after your muscle building workout. Doing cardio prior will cause fatigue thus not allowing you to lift and consequently build as much. You also run a higher risk of injury doing cario before a workout rather than afterwards.
