They compiled the results for all 122 teams in the NHL, NFL, NBA and MLB.

The survey says beer and ticket prices are too high in Montreal, but other than that fans are quite satisfied with the team.
And oh yeah, Toronto really sucks haha

Interesting, but some of this is odd. Take for example Toronto's stadium rank, near the bottom.

Say what you will about Toronto, but the ACC is not the worst stadium in pro sports.

Take it for what it's worth: it's only a survey. Nothing scientific here.
I agree though that the ACC is a better stadium than its 96th/122 rank but the crowd/atmosphere is pretty ordinary (except when facing the Habs)

Agreed, just find it odd and I suspect they did a poor job of framing the questions. For example, Detroit has a generally agreed terrible stadium in a bad part of town that's just about ready to fall into the lake. Yet, because they rank so high everywhere else, people seem to generally fall in line on the stadium.

I cannot even begin to see how that makes sense?

Actually what I find strange is the "Championship Titles ranking"
How do we rank so low compared to Detroit or the Ducks? Oh yeah, they are American teams (I'm presuming ESPN surveyed Americans?) and more importantly, short memory...
I mean, Toronto may have not gotten a cup since the stone age but they certainly got upteen times more cups than any other team minus the Habs so I would think that alone should boost them a little higher than 3rd last...
I mean seriously, how does the Hurricanes rank #1 in Championship Titles rankings? They weren't the last team to win the cup and they certainly don't look like cup contenders right now...
lol, whatever, it's a survey with large holes.

im going to assume the question was somewhat biased towards how recent the championship was too.. i mean.. its been 15 years since we won, and 41 now since the leafs won, so even tho we sit at 24 and 13 respectively we're further down the list then other franchises who have significantly less championships

Of course, hence when I mentioned they have short memories. But if that's the case, how does the Hurricanes rank #1 of ALL teams, not just NHL teams?? They have no history to speak of and one cup a little while ago. I would expect the Ducks be in front of the canes....

Hehe, even the Blue Jays beat the Habs in the rankings
Go Jays Go! (now if they would only win a game or two...)

The way i see it:

Question: Are you satisfied with the number of championships?

Hurricanes fan: hell yes!!!!
Ducks fan: yes but it would be nice to win it again this year
Habs fan: no, we want more!!!

Its fan satisfaction with their number of championships.

Montreal fans are pissed if we didn't win 4 in a row. Canes fans are happy with one.

That makes sense to me.

they werent even expected to win that one at that time and were predicted to fight for the playoffs if that werent they?

as for the ducks fans.. they won last year and still had a great team that should, in theory, have gone a lot further than they did again this year and challenged for the cup again, hence "losing spots"
