Well when you have a guy like Hamrlik playing heavy minutes instead of Souray and Rivet, that helps. When you have guys like Sergei Kostitsyn instead of Perezhogin, and Kostopoulos instead of Garth Murray, it helps too.

There's more to this team than Kovalev. Yes he did help a lot, but the Habs are still a good team without him.

Its our increased scoring depth this year that was the biggest factor, along with better play on defence as Hammer>> Souray and Aebischer was out..... Kovalev contributed to the first one, but he wasn't the only reason for it.
Flyer's fans..

As usual, Beaker(Briere? ) is on the money.

Now where would Toronto be without Toskala's play this year? Ouch.

Not to mention, where will the Leafs be next year without Sundin? It's one thing to have no coach and no GM, but to have no players too, that's gonna be a long year.

It's be nice for Sundin to stay one more year, you know, to keep them out of the Tavaras sweepstakes.

He got that bunch of losers to put forth some effort and make a charge down the stretch and handled the Toronto media beautifully. I'd take him as my coach any day.
