The OFFICIAL is it October yet? Thread!

Its only been about 4 days since i've last seen my Habitants in action and I am already itching for the new season to begin. What am I supposed to do now while I am drinking my beer? Watch crappy scripted TV shows like the rest of the world?

So much excitement to come.. Will we get Brunnstrom? Rolston? Campbell?.... HOSSA?! OMGZ

So how is everyone going to pass their "Mechant Mardi Molson Ex" 's this summer?

I suppose we can make some predictions in here as well.. Here is mine:

Andrei Kostitsyn scores 32goals and 65pts.

I vote for 12, 964 for Latendresse, to make sure he does not break his diet

I LOVE draft time and UFA signing periods. Is it June/July yet?

The weather sure seems to think it's October already.
Danielle Briere will appear to have grown an inch, but Derian Hatcher will make headline news by discovering the lifts in Briere's skates and then throwing them at Rolston at the next Hab-Cryer game.

I will make a real prediction here

The habs will still finish first in the east, ahead of the pens and Capitals

Okay, I'll try an actual prediction here: the battle for the division is going to be between Boston and Montreal next year, leaving the others (sorry, Sabres fans, you know I love you) far behind eating their dust.

Boston?!? make me laugh

Sens just need to have a good goalie and they are good to go

I can see Boston being better, they will have Bergeron back and shouldn't lose too much..... Lets see what they add and they have some young players who should improve too.... Kessel, Kreijci, Lucic, etc...

I can see them challenging for the division.... but I wouldn't count Ottawa out yet either.

Boston will fight for first no doubt about it as long as Thomas has another unbelivable year.If he doesn't make miracles like this year I doubt they can win the division

I think here people overrate Bruins Badly because of their combativity agaisnt us

They would have lost in four against pens or rangers

You know Boston doesn't actually suck, right?
Ottawa needs a lot more than a good goalie. That epic meltdown was not a result of any one thing (although I would love to put the entire blame on the shoulders of Sens fans, whom I abhor). It was a combination of factors and even if they get their **** together this summer it will take them a while to get their bearings once the season starts.
Boston and Montreal pretty much have their **** together right now, they're just going to be making adjustments and improvements over the summer.

look at my above post, people around here overrate them badly because of the game they played against us in playoff, but remember, same team went 0-7-1 against us this year, and ther is not playoff thingies in the reg season

Imo, Bruins would have been swept by a Rangers Squad or a Pens Armada who actually posess mor playoff attack performers

I think people underrate them badly because the Habs swept them in the regular season. They're not a bad team at all (I don't think they're the best or anything), and the one problem they don't have at the moment that Ottawa and Toronto do is club pandemonium. As for the Sabres, I don't see them fighting as hard as Boston and Montreal.
