Danny Markov

After tonights game, Mr. Markov is a league leading +17. Probably the best trade for us this season.

I think the best trade Clarke made this season, with regards to the assets he gave up, was getting Timander.

Nah, I don't know if we'll ever get over the Oates debacle.

I wouldn't go that far. We got Malakhov for a 2nd, Zhamnov for Vandermeer and Fraser, and Timmander for a 7th. Williams is still gonna be a hell of a hockey player.

I was one of those guys that was pissed when they traded Willie. Must say I've gotten over it though.

Here is what E.J. Hradek said of the Oates trade the day after it was made and let's not forget that Oates was the league leader in assists at the time of the trade.

"To his (Clarke's) credit, he was able to get Oates, the league's top playmaker, on short notice."

I didnt want to see J-Will go. i dont think anyone did. But sometimes decisions have to be made for the better of the club. We do not make that deal we are talking about the season the Flyers just had. without Markov we wouldnt be 60 minutes of Flyer hockey away from playing for THE most coveted trophy in all of sports.
