OT: Normapac arson in MTL

I'm not sure if anyone else heard the news that late last night there was an arson case at the Normapac company near Viau and Pierre-de-Coubertin (near the Olympic Stadium). I wanted to add that I just drove by that area and there were firefighters everywhere so it seems that arsonists torched it again tonight - seems like somebody wants somebody else out of business

I think you mean Norampac on 2755 Viau near Pierre de Coubertin.
I heard on ctv news that 3 trailers were set on fire and destroyed. There were no injuries or evacuations.

Hell yes, if you turn right on Sherbrooke while you are on Viau, you get in downtown. Make a left turn on Stanley and you're on business!

IP should block himself from responding to any thread

No relation IP, but the OP put OT in their thread title. So we'll let them live this time.

So this means that if i put 'OT' in my thread i can talk about the transmission problems on my car and its related to hockey because i used that car to go play hockey and also buy the TV that i watch hockey with?

For you IP, you can do whatever the hell you like.

I see where you are coming from, but it seems like the board has decided that as long as you put OT in your title, you can pretty much say whatever you want. Once a mod wakes up, they will probably merge this somewhere else.

I think things set to OT should be allowed so long as they relate to the city of Montreal. There's no other forum on this board that Montrealers can speak exclusively about current events. I wouldn't post something OT that related to a grocery robbery in Moncton

I think that putting one's self on one's ignore list is a sure sign of low self esteem. This relates to nothing said here and no one posting, but the thought just ocurred to me.
