They should show that to strangers who want to come and live in Canada and are about to choose Toronto.

Great video. And to think that most tourists waste their time and money on Crescent street... Oh well.

the music's kind of annoying but that is an excellent video.

there's a lot more to montreal then just that, but even then, there's a ton of good stuff here.

Montreal does a very poor job of tourism. Nobody down here even knows it exists, except for young mooks from Boston. They need to start advertising. Perhaps team up with Quebec City and the surrounding regions. It's not cheap like it used to be though...

Emphasize the romantic atmosphere of the place. Women down here would eat it up.

considering that the gay and lesbian market is HUGE, i dont see why they shouldnt tap into it. It's purely capital driven.

Yeah.

You hear the man? He knows.

We don't care if you're some ****-sucking fagget anymore.

We need money! We need YOUR money!

Give us money, and that will be one less baby we'll have to send to China on adoption.

Give us money, and that will be one more "local" doctor, one less we have to import from HAITI, of all places.

Give us money or we'll be like in Pyongyang in 10-20 years!

Save The Quebecois! Give Us Money!

We just finished winter, and i'm sure Tourisme Montreal geared this video towards the summer tourist season...so its not a big deal.

Gay people like to have their own clubs and place to party which is really understandable given the attitude of the general population toward them. I mean, 90% of the people, gay or not, spend that nightlife flirting in clubs, bars and pubs. If I was gay I would probably like to know what the city has to offer me in this department. Plus, Montreal has a impressive gay and lesbian community. They would be crazy not to advertise it since it probably mean a lot of tourism money. I'm pretty sure San Francisco enjoy that money at lot.
