Tampa or Philly?

Who would you rather see the flames play in Finals?

My vote is for Philly.. i think they are banged up and our forecheck will cause as much havoc if not more than what they are experiencing with Tampa

although, I find Tampa's defense as their weak spot, i don't want to face Khabby.. he's very scary right now

also, i think our 5th and 6th dmen (montador and commodore) would by severely compromised (ie very little icetime) if we played Tampa due to the speed of their forwards... commodore's lack of foot speed was magnified in the san jose series

hopefully philly prevails.. or atleast makes a game 7

Philly.

They've got a big strong set of forwards, but their defence is decimated. Esche still doesn't strike me as a Stanley Cup Calibre goalie.

TB has a boatload of firepower and a superb goalie. The only thing I question on that team is their defence, but Khabibulin makes up for that.

They're both good clubs and will pose an extremely tough series, but due to Philly's injuries and Esche I'd rather play Philly.

I agree. Philly plays a defence first type of game. I would rather see Tampa

I couldn't have said it any better myself. Phili would be ripe for the pickings, but then again , they are giving tampa a run for their money. But Phili gets my vote.

But then again, I'm confident. Calgary has gotten by playing top teams, so regardless of who they get the team will rise to the occassion.

GO FLAMES GO!

I'd like to see Philly, personally. Both Philly and Calgary play "physical as hell, tough as nails" games...it would be a bashing war to watch, and that's fun. It would also be interesting to see the iron wills of Keith Primeau and Jarome Iginla collide, as they are both giving amazing playoff shows....

Philly

1) Easier to beat
2) Easier to hate

Yes. Plus I don't want Bobby Clarke anywhere near another Cup.

This is the way I see it

Phillie: BIG
Tampa:NOT

Even with their injured defence the flyers for the most part is Bigger, though Esche isnt quite up to standards.

I think I would pick Tampa for the excitement.

TO BEAT:?

Is it easier to beat size or a hot goalie?
Philedelphia (size) Tampa Bay (Goalie) DUh

Thats the question we need to ask to pick the easiest match.

Watching St. Louis skate around Commodore is the kind of excitement that we do without.

Definitely Calgary matches up better against Philly. It would be easier to force the Flyers into playing the Flames style. If Lydman & Lombardi could return, life gets better.

I want them to play the Flyers. I liked the Flyers as my second team back when they had Hextall. And I would win my draft outright cause nobody would have any players left and I need the $140.

Anyone know if Lydman is still suffering the symptoms?
