Thanks for posting this thread. I wouldn't have been aware otherwise.

Some amazing players on both sides. I find it hard, however, to cheer for any team with Ronaldo on it. But I guess you've got to like the Canadian Hargreaves. So go Man U.

I like John Terry for Chelsea though. Some real personalities all over the places in this one.

I hate both teams and wish they could both lose. Clearly that is not an option.

Hope Man U adds the Champions League title to their Premiership title this year. I'll only get to see an hour of this game before heading off to work.

Super pumped about this game. I'll be going down to the local Elephant and Castle here in Edmonton. It's going to be super packed, so I'll end up being there 1h15 before kickoff to guarantee a spot.

C'mon United... They play beautiful, free-flowing football and have been the best team in Europe from start to finish. Should be an interesting game in Moscow. Apparently the pitch is in terrible condition, since they had to import the grass from Slovakia. Some mention that the poor conditions would favour Chelsea, as they play a grittier game. It's definitely a nerve-wracking time for Man United fans. I remember the FA Cup Final last year, Manchester United were fresh off their Premiership title, and were favoured. But they never really got their sharpness, and Didier Drogba ended up winning it just before the death.

I'll be watching from home tonight. I'm hoping for a Chelsea win, although not out of any love for that club, they are the lesser of two evils. If Man U win (and I think they will), I'm not only going to have to put up with all the national news coverage of it, but all the local coverage as well. Don't want to suffer that again. Both teams have some awesome players, both teams have at least one player I like, but Chelsea have more than one. That and the fact I'll never hear the end of it if United win means I'm cheering for the Blues tonight. Either that or a spectacular power failure which cancels the game (that could be a stretch though). Lets Go, Electrical Problems, Lets Go

I'm not vested in either of these teams myself, (Liverpool fan since the '70's, sorry Qui!) but am leaning towards Man U, I dislike the blues a bit more than the reds....(I liked the Blues back in the Vialli and Rudd days, now not so much.)

Hopefully a good game and they fix that pitch.

New reasons to cheer against Man U just keep popping up.

He sold his soul to the (Red) Devils and to The ******* Sun. I'll cheer for him when he puts on an England shirt, but that's about it. Hopefully Chelsea shut him the **** up tonight.

HaHa QGD, I can understand the hate!! And he's not even a proud scouse now!!!
He and the Sun should leave well enough alone I guess, did you digest your breakfast after reading that!!!

He hasn't been a proud scouser for years, but that's his choice. He talks about Everton fans 'understanding' him when he talks to The Sun. Nice display of understanding there Wayne. Bravo. Nice job disproving that stereotype about dumb footballers. The majority of an ENTIRE CITY won't touch that paper, but then they aren't being paid off by them. Maybe that makes things on the moral compass turn a little more easily

Thankfully, I only just saw that once I'd got to work, so my breakfast had a little time to settle. If it does come back up though, I'm almost overwhelmed with choices of who to send it through the post to

I'm a Liverpool fan, so I can't say I'm really rooting for any team to win. I have to admit though, I'll probably subconciously hope United wins just because they play very watchable game. Or better put it this way - I want Chelsea to lose more than United

another liverpool fan here

I cant stand ManU. I've never been a ManU fan. My hatred of ManU is similar to my hatred of the leafs and Bruins. They also happen to have my least favorite player in C. Ronaldo.

Even though Chelsea knocked out my team, I have to cheer for them. Its really a no brainer for me.

PS - I also think Rooney is a ******

Good for Man U, Chelsea played great today and should have probably won with the posts they hit.

Glad Ronaldo missed his pk

wow, that hurt.

being a hardcore chelsea fan, that was the most heartbreaking loss ever.

i feel for terry, but why was he taking the penalty in the first place?
