While this is certainly one of your flaws (IIRC correctly, your favourite club is the second-closest DEL-city to Darmstadt), I am happy, that my memory still works.

At least I'm joing their bandwagon when I'm there for a game once in a while and pretend to care for the team ...

... but I'm rather wearing my Sergei Fedorov jersey rather than one of my 2 you-know-what-city-I-mean jerseys.

Great singing by the Lions. Hope Gawlik can stay healthy.

So, what are the thoughts on Gawlik and any other rumors concerning other signings?

Lance Ward, John Slaney and Jamie Wright have already signed, but the Lions are reluctant to announce it officially.

signed with berlin. haven't heard anything about a possible tryout in NA, but i could imagine that. but unless he succeeds in NA, he will play in berlin next season.

Hmm...any word on why he didn't stay in Frankfurt? That's a little disappointing...

He's definitely an improvement over Smrek (not a big thing, though), but I am somewhat worried about the speed of the Lions' defense next season, cause Armstrong, Slaney and Ward are not known for their skating skills.

It's not breaking news, but the Lions affirmed the contract extension of Michael Bresagk for the upcoming season.

I guess, it will be his final season, but you'll never know. Bresagk was in great shape last season and he looked the fittest among all athletes after the triple OT-game against Iserlohn, although he got comparable ice-time to guys like Regehr, Marshall and Kopitz.

Yesterday, the Lions officially announced the signing of LW Jamie Wright. He has signed for one year.

i think he's a good addition. it's not just his scoring, he's also playing tough. he's a pretty good player in europe.

in general i like the additions of the lions. when i remember the years before chernomaz, they lions were a bunch of crap put together and nothing worked. but the last seasons we see a team that works. it's put together with a strategy.

the way it looks at the moment, i would expect the lions to play like last season. somewhere around 4th/5th place and dangerous in the POs.

enjoyable times for lions fans these days.
