Yup. Very boring.

Is anybody here good at creating wallpapers? I started using igoogle yesterday and you can create your own themed web portal. It would be cool to have a one made for Hab fans.

I recommend igoogle to everyone. On my igoogle site, I have hotmail, youtube, TSN, facebook all one one page. You can also add a lot more applications. Its very cool.

The Detroit and Pittsburgh boards should be lively enough to relieve the boredom.

I bought the Hockey News entry draft issue today. Are we drafting 25th or 28th?

Sir, I will let you know I got the 1000th post in the 2nd thread...until you deleted some and moved mine down to 996, thus making me look like a crazed maniac.

One of the pre-requisites of being a Habs fan is being a crazed maniac. So don't worry Quartz, you fit in just fine.

How did we obtain the 25th position in drafting? (I thought we were 28th according to "The Hockey News Draft Preview"). Thanks for any info.

I prefer 25th choice

And what are our "selecting" positions for 2nd Round?
(we have 2 picks in 2nd round thanks to the Huet trade...I still don't get how we obtained only a 2nd Round pick for Huet when last year we obtained Gorges + a 1st Round pick, aka as Max Pacioretty!, but/anyways...I'll still take the 2nd Round pick with a smile! ).

Can't wait for June 20th

I'm reading the Draft Preview mag, but I still don't know too many names, except for the TOP 10, and...
Jared Staal
Chet Pickard
(do you think the hABS will get ONE of those two?).

Anyways, I totally trust Timmins/Gainey/HAB scouts...

1- #1 to #14 are the no playoffs teams
2- teams that make the playoffs but had not been ranked first in their respective divisions and did not make the conference finals (Nsh, Cgy, Col, Ana, Bos, Ott, NYR, NJ) - #15-#22
3- teams that had been ranked first in their divisions but had not made the conference finals (#23 Was 94 pts, #24 Min 98 pts, #25 Mtl 104 pts, #26 SJ 108 pts)
4- #27-28, teams who lose in the conference finals (Dallas-Philly)
5- #29, SC loser
5- #30, SC winner

And the Huet trade pick is the 2009 Ana 2nd round pick I think.

Maybe not, but thief50, Ice Poutine and us are, shall we say, doing pretty well in that aspect considering the rules.

I don't remember how the draft works. Is it a Snake Draft? or it just restarts to 1 again?
