Who here can't wait to see fleury fall on his face again in game 2?

Im not a Red Wings fan.

Im a Rangers fan, only a Rangers fan, and will always be a Rangers fan. I only root for the Rangers and any game that can help the Rangers in some way. In this case, its neither. I just want to see this series go seven games and triple overtime to give both fanbases heart attacks, much like the Rangers do to me

No way thats going to happen.

The pens look like a little AHL team compared to the Wings.

I want the Red Wings to win for the simple fact that the Penguins have gotten a free ride this year in the playoffs. Nothing would make Butthead more happy to see Cindy Crosby win a Stanley Cup. And if you think otherwise, I got this bridge in Brooklyn for sale CHEAP.......

While I want the Pens to get thrashed, I do kinda feel that a long series will be better for the NHL. Hope it goes 7 with some great hockey, and Detroit coming out on top.

I'd much rather see Crosby fall flat on his face.

Probably wouldn't even make it to free agency. I'd love him on the team though.

Haha the hockey fans in my school are so funny to debate with.

According to them the Pens can't lose because they have Crosby, Malkin, and Kris Letang (top 10 defenseman in the league ).

So much for that, the Wings are a fantastic team.

My oh My, the Pens look rather less than ordinary. What a schoolin' Detroit is putting on them, and they aren't even breaking a sweat.
Mentally, Malkin must be back relaxing at his dacha in Russia. Kind of defines the difference between him and Ovechkin, which I always knew anyway.

I can't decide whether it's the Pens are playing horrible, Detroit is just doing their thing, or it's a combo of both.

Regardless, this series has been AWFUL so far. Ridiculously boring.

Detroit only drafts/develops/trades for and keeps the best players. Their team is amazing. Mike Babcock is amazing, and so is Mike Ilitch. Most cities would go nuts for a ticket to see a team like that.

And how about having a guy like Chris Osgood for $850,000? Amazing. Not that he has had much to do this series, but he can handle what Pittsburgh could conceivably throw at him if they are able to actually mount an attack.

I'm glad I got to watch some great Memorial Cup action after the Rangers were knocked out, because this Stanley Cup final ain't all that exciting.

I am thoroughly enjoying this mess that is the Pittsburgh Penguins. What I love the most is the fans on this board totally making all sorts of excuses and losing their heads, when in the three previous rounds they were getting all high and mighty whenever another team's fans did it. Oh how the mighty have fallen as soon as they face a team that has their **** together. I couldn't want this any more right now .

I have to admit I am rooting full bore for the Wings, and am truly enjoying watching the Boy Wonders look so clueless.

This is getting kind of chippy with the Penguins getting very frustrated. Detroit's not a fighting team, but I get the feeling something might happen. Where's LaRaque?

Yeah, I just noticed that. It came after he was tripped in the corner (also known as losing your footing cause you skate like an idiot and expect the refs to help you out after you fall). I wondered when he would start.

Detroit can't take this win for granted just yet, though.

I no sooner say they have to be careful than they just finish them off. Amazing. Have I used that word too much tonight?

No, Crosby was not whining all night. What I was saying was that he kept a lid on it until that takedown in the corner where he felt he was wronged.
That play perfectly defined what I hate about Crosby. He goes in at a 45 degree angle to the ice, leaning way over, and when someone opposes him and he inevitably falls an official calls a penalty. He does not always necessarily take a dive, but he expects compensation from the officials for the bad things that happen.
That is why I like his talent, but absolutely hate seeing his whiny faces and complaints, and love it when he does not get what he wants.
Sid, you're not a bad hockey player, but grow up, be a man! You deserve the slag we give you.

Any one else think Malkin has been invisible these 2 games?
