I think so. He's a young man who is in his first finals but he seems to be pulling the reins in than going to the whip.

I read an article that said he might be tired but the Pens did have what, six days off after finishing off the Flyers?

Who wouldn't? Not a lot of heart from good old Evgeni. Bit of a floater, I would say.

lol Penguins can't score so they take deliberate runs at Osgood.

They deserve to lose.

Yeah, but can't blame them for wanting to build up for the next game. Not that I think they have a snowball's hope in hell.

Roberts punch was very blatant. Whitney's was more a love tap but he did try to send a message.

Anyone else think that it's ironic that the Pens have a thread to complain about diving, yet they were all over us for getting hung up on their own team diving? My my how the tables have turned. Those bandwagon fans sure are a funny bunch.

I am emjoying the crying on the board, the thread about Osgood being a diver and all... Funny coming from a fan base who consistently lambasted us and Flyers fans for saying the same thing about Crosby. Only in our case, it was true.

This is too sweet. Go Wings.

You're right, it was very blatant, just saw it on the replay. As lime-green-suit Don Cherry says, you have to do something about it. I think it will be a zoo next game at the Igloo.

Yep, saw that too and I'm absolutely loving it. They deserve to get a taste of their own medicine.

Kinda think next game might get your adrenaline up. So far, til the last few minutes of the third, I've been flatlining.

As for the Pens, I'm glad they're finally be exposed for what they really are - a bunch of whining babies.

In every game they've lost the entire playoffs, they resort to dirty play when things aren't going their way. It's their way of throwing a tantrum when they don't get their way.

As for Therrien, he's finally being exposed as the terrible coach that he is. The Pens were on autopilot for the past two months. They got where they were on sheer talent alone, not the system or coaching. Look at it this way, what does Therrien do everytime they are down? He juggles lines. That's all he knows how to do. Doesn't change the strategy or game plan.

Had not seen the Red Wings much, but god damn they are some team. Everyone is behind the same puck, and they can play any kind of game you want. Gotta look to the GM for putting such a diverse mix of guys out on the ice, as they literally have every type of player to make the team versatile.

Doing this all with freakin' Chris Osgood in net

About time they faced a team that didn't have some injury problems. The had all the breaks in the first three rounds about time they got crushed. Love to see them get swept. All the morons in Pissburgh deserve this!!!

Excuse me for saying this, but doesn't that sound exactly like Tom Renney?

Renney juggles lines on a weekly basis, not period by period

I was actually going to write in my post that Therrien is an even worse version of Renney.

Haha, I was just about to mention that thread. The hypocrisy of that entire board is just mind-boggling.

I can't say we would have fared much better than the Pens, but I dare to say we would have lost with much more dignity.

Chris ain't that bad.
Notice how the Wings dmen get behind the forward who is taking the pass from down low in the offensive zone? More than a few times they kept the pressure on because they covered for each other. If the puck was missed, the guy directly behind it covered. smart as hell. The puck didn't go sliding out of the offensive zone, it was sent back in deep.
