I've been saying this since before the trade deadline. Yes, he is awesome, but no, I didn't think he was going to change the world. I still don't. If the Habs can get him for a good price, I'd be all for it, but $10 million?

It's all relative. Hossa dosent bring what is expected from a $7M+ player.
Yet we all wanted Brière last year and he would have gotten 9 Mil a year...Hossa is a better player than Briere.
Brière is actualy a 6.5 cap hit. And I think it's debatable. I dont see Hossa making the players arround him better. I've been watching him closely since the trade deadline and tho I wanted him at the time I realy dont want him at this point. He just never establishes the play in the opposing zone. Just watch him...if he's the guy carying the puck in the zone he has to shoot or pass....if he tries to keep the puck it usualy ends up in a turn over.
