That's probably overpayment by the Flyers.

Those are three guys who come to mind. I wouldn't be shocked if a guy like Sundin wouldn't have some interest in a one year deal to play for the Ducks. If they know for sure that Niedermayer won't be back they could give Mats a one year 4M deal with some added incentives.
Ducks can't afford Sundin, even at 4 million. As is, one of Niedermayer or Schneider has to be gone just to get the rest of the team signed.

Beauchemin/Wellwood swap would probably work good for leafs, not sure how Ducks would like it. Not a chance for Antropov though

where the hell do i sign? I'm going to thee ohio state next year, the ducks are my favorite team, and zac dalphe is going to the O! But not sure if we could fit RJ under the cap.

I'm very bad at valuing Beauch though, i would trade him for a box of those new Warrior sticks, and some new 3rd unis.

I'd do it, I would imagine Anaheim would have to throw in a pick or prospect because Beach had an off year, maybe rights to Umberger and a 2nd for Beachemin, rights to Pesonen and a 3rd.

Their is a second line centre who puts up a PPG down in St Louis, would fit it perfectly with the Ducks. Andy someone.....

We'll give you Stoll for our 1st rounder.
Burke and Lowe can negotiate by text.......

Something tells me that Brian Burke isn't going to trade for RJ Umberger and try to negotiate a contract with him.

I think we'll probably end up just trying to fill it internally, mostly with Ryan Carter or Andrew Ebbett (I don't think Platt would be able to hold it long).

If that isn't working out, then expect Burke to make a trade to address it.

how bout signin Blake Wheeler?

he's pretty good, but screwed in the head in terms of money wise,

who in the right mind would give up a chance to meet and get taught by Gretzky and get alot of playin minutes?

He isnt really a center anymore, he played a lot of wing this last year in college. That, and the kid is pretty raw for a 2nd line center spot.

Sundin for Ryan +1st would have been good. Antropov IMO would not be enough for Ryan. Yes Antropov had 26 goals and over 50 points, but it has taken him till the age of about 28 to come around, he's still very injury prone. His skating still leaves a lot to be desired.

Sign Jason Williams. Should come fairly cheap comparatively, right hand shot...had a good season with Chicago.

That is absolutely brutal for Ana, I doubt that even gets you Perry on his own.
