Ottawa's going to be in the market for a capable back-up, since Emery's all but bought out.

I'm not wild about 60-65 games of Martin Gerber, so I'd prefer that we try and get Kolzig since there's more of a chance he can split the #1 job. But if we're getting a straight #2, Dubie's as good as anyone. Valiquette's name has also been tossed around on the Sens board.

What about LA? They need help in goals with Bernier who is only 20. They need stability too. I don't know what LA fans think about that.

His destination will be: Vancouver.....Luongo and the Dube. Sounds like a T.V show.

anywhere where he can play a minimum 20 games and not just for your starter being injured

Youd Probably want a Veteran to backup Bernier.

St. Louis will probably give him a look. They've already stated that next season's backup goalie won't come from within the organization.

The Kings still have LaBarbera who's a very capable starter as well as Ersberg who came on late in the season and was lights out. Plus Bernier in Manchester with one of Quick, Zatkoff or Taylor. They don't need Dubielewicz.

He'd be a good fit in Buffalo. Backup this season, possible platoon goalie w/Enroth next year if Buffalo fails to re-sign Miller.

You did notice that the reason they played The Rick to the point of breaking was that Yoda came to camp out of shape and the coaches had no confidence in playing him? For that, they could just recycle Tehehe-blow.

I honestly believe thats complete ********. A cop out in attempt to keep peace with the fans. Truth be told, Wade is the best backup we've had in years. They played Rick as much as they did cause they truly felt it was our best shot at winning and that Rick wouldnt get hurt. I really do not believe Wade's summer conditioning had anything to do with it.

The guy has proven he can hang with some of the top backups in the league. And he seems to always excel under some extreme pressure. Just imagine how well his record wouldve been in front of a half decent team.

He would be a great number 2 on the Island behind Rick D but I think they already have a back up a Joey Mac6holedonald.
Macdonald is not good and if he is on the bench next year behind DP ,DP will play 78 games barring injury.

Ottawa will want at the very least a quality, veteran backup. Their goaltending is shaky already, no need to make it shakier with Dubbie.

His .910 save percentage and his 3.00 GAA in front of the Kings porous at best defense says otherwise.

If for some reason Brian Boucher doesn't resign, I'd love for the Sharks to sign Dubie, although I don't know how he would feel about such limited playing time.

I can see him...in Germany? Maybe France?

I'd call him a decent backup goalie, but all in all, teams are going within their own organization or looking at someone like Brian Boucher, Olie Kolzig, Alex Auld...umm...is Steve Valiquette signed in NY?

If they had so little faith in him, why would they make him a "significant offer?" I don't buy it.

He could be their 9th goalie in 3 years.

Whats the Hawks situation currently like? If Lalime walks then could Dub step in their? or do they have a prospect talent that would be preferrable?

No follow-up on the rumor that CSKA Moscow made him a one-year, $1.8 mil offer?
