HNIC coverage in USA...

I'm curious if there are any areas in the Northeast that show more Habs games than Leafs games...

Here in Western New York, Toronto is obviously the main canadian team broadcast. Does Upstate New York, further up near the Quebec/New York border provide Habs games?

CBC will soon go under, probably when the next contract exention comes up. Look for Headline sports if they end up getting the hab coverage in english to extend the coverage in the U.S.

What a poor post. CBC just sign a 6 years extension beginning in the 2008-09 season through the 2013-2014 Stanley Cup finals. There is no sign that this is the last CBC contract, that extension has not even started!

Next year, CBC should show more regional games, so you should be able to see more Habs games on CBC Montreal in the USA (if you have access to that station), instead of Leafs games.

As for Headline Sports, it is now called The Score since 2000... they don't have Habs right for the moment, they never did, and we don't know if they will get them in the future and if these rights will be regional or national... And of course, The Score is not available legally in the USA.

If you don't know what you're talking about, then don't bother.
