How is it brutal for Anahiem? Meszaros is a 6.02 220lb defenceman who has played in every game the Sens have played since the lockout, puts up about 40 points a year and plays over 20 minutes a game. Oh and He's only 22. That's certainly not worth much.

I think it's bad too, but Meszaros would be great to have on our team. The thing is, we have no one that can score, seriouslly. On the current roster there is 0 actual goal scorers(grant it Teemu and Perry aren't signed) and there is really no goal scorer coming up through the system. So there is no way we could trade that without getting a goal scorer in return.

yes, let's trade for another old guy, we already have teemu and scott nearly retiring, we don't need Sundin too. Plus, we don't really need a 1st line center, we need a 2nd line center. Sundin would probably cost too much as a 2nd line center.

If he can learn to stay on his feet and get over his nervousness then sure. However, there a lot of us are beginning to worry if that will ever turn out.

Ryan tends to be more of a playmaker than a goal scorer. I believe he even said that his game is more based around passing than shooting.

Seriously, Perry is the only guy who shoots the puck. That's why he's probably worth more to the Ducks than he would be worth to anyone else.

He wasn't gonna produce unless he played with Perry or Teemu(who wasn't on the team). So it's easy to say that when he came back, but if he didnt and doesn't resigning Perry, and getting Scotty/Teemu back for the rest of last season and possibly next is better than McDonald.
