Habs combine

Here's the article about it.

http://canadiens.nhl.com/team/app/?s...ticleid=365025

Anybody know if a list of the 33 prospects has been made available somewhere? On that article, it just mentions the names of Deschamps and both Sauvé's...And it also said MOST are from the Q....who else was rumored to be there from other leagues?

P.S. Note that in the english version only Yann Sauvé was mentioned while in the french version Deschamps and the Sauvé's were....

I know they talked to Kyle Beach at the NHL combine, doubt he went to the Bell Center as he is coming off surgery

It would be greatly appreciated if you could ask him how it went with the Habs during the combine interview.

When i asked him before all he said was that it went well, was a few scouts that interviewed him, Gainey wasn't there. I'll prob see him the next couple days so ill ask him some more specifics.

Big centre Luke Adam from the St.John's Fog Devils attended yesterday as well. He's ranked 42nd in North American skaters, having moved up from 66th since midyear.

Doubt very much Beach will slide down to us. Be a steal for us if he did...I'm not that worried about his temper....18 years old...how many kids don't have a temper at that age?

I would think the majority of these players aren't top 100 prospects like the Toronto Combine. These are probably kids on the Habs radar for later rounds.

And perhaps if some of these guys go undrafted, they could invite them to the development camp and then chose if they want to sign them, despite them having to go back to the Q like they did with Olivier Michuad after he went undrafted in his first draft year. This way they will have a better feel for them and we seem to sign mostly guys from the Q that go undrafted or are FA's like Beauregard, Desjardins, Desharnais, Sanford, Michuad, Cote.
