what are your summer hockey plans?

I mean besides dissecting the Bruins free agent situation on this board.

What's going for you related to the wide world of hockey? For me, it's just breaking in my new skates, trying to get in some pickup games, line up something for the fall.

aside from every Sunday street hockey at my mother's house..not much...
My oldest boy got all the goalie stuff now... so he's in net.
It's fun.. Me , my brother-in-law, and about a dozen little kids.

Aside from that.. I'm doing my thing here at HF and dreaming of training Camp.. Season or no season.. camp is always something I look forward to.

I'm expecting a BIG turnout of all you LFers...no excuses !

Just The Board

Summertime means GOLF, GOLF and more GOLF for me.

I`m playing in a number of tournaments this summer.

I`m a sucker for tourney golf and skins games...I`m like a junkie or something.

A co-worker of mine and I actually played in a 2 man tourney at the Belgrade Golf Course last weekend. We fired a 4 under and still finished 6 shots out of 1st!

Couldnt freakin believe it!

To any of my fellow golfers on the board...if you ever get the chance to come up to central Maine, you HAVE to find a way to get a round in at Belgrade. Its rated the 4th best public course in New England by the New England Journal Of Golf.

You gotta play it!

Hoo-boy, I played pickup with a bunch of kids from Catholic Memorial today. I did okay and could keep up with them (barely! I'm 34 and no decathlon medal-winner) but mannnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnnn, was I winded. Got some purty assists, though .

Other than that, I'm saving money to buy season tickets :lol
