maybe you could turn it upside down and wear it as a dunce cap . fact is , after smolinski came back from his knee injury he played well and was good down the stretch and in the playoffs .
I know... but come on there... We finished 1st overall in the East, and I find it ridiculous when the same 3 players get bashed again and again. Maybe they were not that much of liabilities if we did make it to the second round of the playoffs... mainly because of them.
It's like... I understand some players are less good than others, but Smolinski wasn't brought in to be exactly the second coming of god... He did a decent job and he was very useful at the end of the year and in the playoffs. He did make less mistakes in a season than Bonk in 5 games...

Higgins is an overated player by a lot of Habs fans, in my opinion. But it's better now.
Smolinski is way underated and is considered as an under-**** here.
What I say is that Smolinski was paid for his experience, and was very useful. He even at times scored very important goals for us down the stretch, and in the series against Boston, was maybe our best defensive forward.
Starting a thread to laugh at this player and to say he's a **** is just dumb and stupid. I just don't know what was the user's goal creating this cup...
