If all he wanted was a cup I think he would've already packed it in and never bothered coming back last year.

He also scored 88Goals in the 2 previous seasons combined with a point total of 184pts in 162Games...
Yea, that really backs up your opinion that he's finished
I thought he meant finished as in he'll retire, not finished as in he can't play anymore.

What I believe Beauchemin/ the article says is that Selanne has four kids in school in Anaheim and he doesn't believe he'd leave because of that. I believe Beauchemin also said that he feels Selanne will either return to the Ducks, or retire.
Sounds about exactly what was said about Nylander and his kids last year. Well, guess what?

The guy is a huge gym rat and is hardcore about training, that's why he is still able to be an elite player at an older age. Just because he didn't play the whole year doesn't mean he has no desire to play, if he had no desire to play he would've just sat around and drank beers after he won the cup.

"Has one of the best combinations of speed and hands in the NHL. Is an exceptionally smooth skater. Is underrated in terms of grit and leadership."

Taken from his page on sportsnet.ca, i'm pretty sure leadership and grit are a couple things we lacked in the playoffs and also add in that he's been a PPG player over the last 3 years and has had chemistry with Saku internationally and i'm pretty sure he's a guy the Habs could use.

If Gino Odjik could fly under the radar, Selanne should have no problem .

The source of all this.

Back to hockey, Ruutu and Avery are a clean guys compared to Julie.
There is nothing wrong with dating a good whistle blower IMO.
