I have 4 guides and know pretty much all the prospects who should go in the first two rounds. This week, I have a few days off, so I'll read even more to be fully ready. I'm going to buy a few things to drink and eat for friday, and I might invite a friend over to watch it. I'll have my guides in front of me for the tSN broadcast, and from time to time, I'm going to watch RDS to see who they want. I will find that funny because I will know that the Habs won't pick that huge physical guy that the French crew will want. And after the draft, I'm going to be on HF for a while. On Saturday, I will wake up in the morning, and follow the rest of the draft on the Internet while posting on HF. That's pretty much it!

Can't wait to hear RDS talk about guys they have no idea who they are....

The only reason Flynn seems to know it's cause he reads McKenzie....still he's the most knowledgeable guy out there...says a lot...

At the very least, even if I'm not his biggest fan, what a waste of insight to have Leroux interviewing guys instead of beeing in the panel to talk about the prospects.

No instead they want comments from Houde, Pedneault and Demers....no but seriously....

That show for them is actually a show to talk about next season and the UFA period that is coming....and then a pick actually happen and they have to say something about him....

Last year, me and my friends went to a place that no one really goes to and played pool and watched it.

This year, we're going to the first round, then going back to a little town of Arnprior, staying there for the night, then back to Ottawa the next day to see round 2-7

We have a lot in common!

Since it's Father's Day and I'm estranged from my father, will you be my new dad?

I'm officially going on Saturday. Unfortunately was too late to get tickets for Friday so I'll be watching that one on TSN (unless someone is willing to make a "deal") It might be better because of the coverage on tv anyways...

How and where will you watch the NHL Draft ?

An idea borrowed on the Leafs forum, the question is pretty clear, how and where will you watch the NHL Draft this friday ?

Myself, I'm just so damn happy to be off, my day will revolve around the draft, so this forum will be my home and the TV my bible...

I know, I'm nut...

Demers is already a biased clown for the actual games. He also happens to know nothing about the draft, why the heck is he always there?

Can't freaking wait.

Well, I guess I'm not guaranteed to get seats since it's general admission..but we have the tickets to get in..just have to get there early enough to guarantee seats.

Anyone else going? It'd be nice to all sit in one section.
with my girlfriend ... shes a hockey fan ! (A real one for real !)

TSN is certainly the way to go for the draft.

I'm not a RDS hater, as some of you on the boards are, but their draft coverage is ridiculous. Wasn't it Pednault last year that was saying Turris was a defenseman? And Flynn was pretty much translating the CSS Draft Guide live on the air.

If I have to chose between Bob McKenzie, one of the best draft insiders and hockey experts in the world, or Normand Flynn's reports, my choice isn't very complicated.

The annual ritual for me is to get the notebook in front of the TV and check out several rankings and ratings on the players selected and available. There's usually a hockey news there too. LOL

You're treating me like a one-night-stand, not a son.

I have my own Aquos and MGD, thank you very much.
