Native Americans in the NHL?

How many are there? Or how many in the history of the NHL?

As far as my research tells me, the few Native American players that suited up for the NHL were Jonathan Cheechoo (50goal scorer), Chris Simon, Stan Jonathan and Reggie Leach (50goal scorer). Am I correct? Am I missing anyone?

No mention of Jordin Tootoo, the first Inuk player in NHL history?

Chris Simon, Brandon and Ted Nolan, and Gino Odjick as well.

Ron Delorme is of a first nations background..

As is Gino Odjick.

I've also heard that Carey Price is, but even I have serious doubts about the source.

Trapp isn't native.

His dad just gave him that name so when he was famous people would remember his name.

His dad and grandfather both played for Buffalo.

He grew up about an hour from where I grew up.

Carey Price is native. There you go, Habs fans. His mom is a chief on a reserve in BC.

Um no, Scott is of Mexican dissent, most Mexicans are Native Americans just because they speak the Spanish doesn't make them not Native Americans.
