Callahan, Prucha, Sjostrom, Hollweg, Orr, Betts, Jamtin, Korpikoski, Byers..
well we dont have alot of grit in our system other than byers, dupont, gratton and soryal so it dont hurt to have an agitator in our system

What is their to complain about with this singing?

it's a two way deal and he adds depth.....the end

he'll likely play on the 4th line if he makes the team and it will give it some feistiness and speed.........Sjostrom and Betts need another good winger

I think Prucha and Hollweg are gone in a deal for a D man or picks

It's a good move

I actually tend to think that this signing means that Hollweg is gone.

Gone?

I don't know...maybe but i tend to think it could be just competition for Hollweg and Byers and everybody else vying for a 4th line spot. I don't think this is Hollwegs tickets out of town. I don't think Hollweg is a lock for the roster spot or even that it's his spot to lose but I'd be shocked if Hollweg is waived before the trip abroad in September.

i wont be shocked if hollweg is dealt on fridat for an extra draft pick. kings have alot of picks, and he is from california. maybe hollweg for kanko and a pick, kanko can add leadership to the wolfpack and is from the czech republic..

Although i wouldn't want Kanko that's actually a pretty make sense scenario you spelled out here, Jort..

I wouldn't be shocked if Hollweg is traded to the Kings..

I was so sure Nemo was going to be a Rangers favourite... He seemed so excited to be there... Which was very noticable in Pro Hockey where he writes abit now and then...

I think he sucks too bad nowadays...

He played on a stacked SEL2-team last year without impressing. He played mostly with two other former NHLers, Mikko Eloranta and Lasse Pirjetä. And all three looked heartless and like they've got nothing left in the tank.

Hopefully Ville rebounds a bit playing for his hometown team Tappara in the SM-liiga.

Do you really think we'll see Hollweg on our roster in the fall? I just don't see it, SOS. I like his personality in the locker room and all, but he just does some stupid **** out there.

You complain about players taking bad penalties and you want Nieminen back?

Personally, I don't think Hollweg will go anywhere. He'll stay part of the team simply becomes it seems like Renney, the players, and Sather like him. They are claiming constantly the amount of energy he brings to the team and all this ********.

I really hope he's gone. I don't ever want to see him again, ever.

I remain one of the rapidly thinning herd that still wants Hollweg here. Without him we have zero forecheckers of authority, an astounding indictment of the organization.

I would also like to congratulate JOrts for his 1,000th post that mentioned Ryan Hollweg.

It means Avery is gone. This was Sathers horrible backup plan I guess....since it doesn't look like Avery is coming back because of a few $ difference.

There was a documentary about Nieminen on SVT2 a few days ago, he is great guy, too bad he didn't get much success here.

It depend when you think Fall starts? I'm not trying to be cute because my guess is when training camp starts (which is Fall to me) Hollweg is on the roster...When the season starts (which Fall to the rest of the world) I don't have an answer because I don't know..

I agree he does stupid things but I can see Hollweg being the 23rd man on the roster as much as I can see him being waived....I just wouldn't be surprised if he was on the team next season..
