Regents are a joke. I wasn't sure of half the stuff I wrote on the Spanish regents and I believe I still got a 96 or something like that. Same with the others

Then again, most of high school is worthless. I've only been out for a few years and I already don't remember 90% of the stuff I learned. Oh well, gotta do what you gotta do

almost all the regents are easy except math B, but good luck with your tests

Hopefully spelling isn't a requirement for passing the Regents.

Considering my English teachers can't even speak correctly, no, it doesn't matter.

wait until college if you think the regents are bad.

New York State mandated standardized tests designed to create an overall standard that each student must meet to pass a class and thus graduate. They put unneeded stress upon teenagers along with handcuffing teachers to teach what they think is going to be on the Regents instead of what students should actually be learning. They are garbage and I hated them. I'm 4 years removed from taking my last one now and I can honestly say that they are completely useless and I honestly don't see the point.

Bingo. Teachers teach towards the test instead of for intellectual purposes. I hate school because of it. That's why I love my AP classes. They have no choice but to teach intellectually.

I took my last Regents exam when Richard Nixon was President. Did pretty good too -- 98 on Chemistry.

I remember when my year got the math B, they repotedly made it a lot harder than they were supposed to, so initially my year had the worst grades eve on the exam. I who am now a math major got only a 93. Later in the summer they curved all the grades and they changed mine to a 98, it was awesome.

oh yeah, those tests. I completely forgot about them because they were stupid easy from what I remember. I wouldn't want to live in Japan where one exit exam determines what university you can get into and what careers you can pursue based upon those universities. Now THAT is undue stress.

And then there is China where we'd all just fail right out the gate.
