What the ****!!! Why is it that Boston is now suddenly more attractive than New York in everything? I see bandwagon Sox fans everywhere I go, Pats fans finally have stopped running their mouths, the Celtics are on the verge of clinching another NBA final, and now one of hockey's more prized free agents has chosen to play with the Bruins over the Rangers? The Bruins, the 8th seed in the playoffs, over the Rangers, the 5th seed in the playoffs? The Rangers a team that needs some forwards other than Jagr with some size? The Rangers, a team that could possibly use him next year on the 3rd line? And Wheeler then goes and passes the greatest city in the world for Boston??? 10 years ago, this would have never happened. 10 years ago, the Sox, Pats, Celts, and Bruins couldn't sign anybody. I don't understand how that city has become so attractive to play in so quickly. Can anybody enlighten me, please?
Really the Bruins played a lot of kids last year. Some due to injuries but still. Good young team, decent results. He may get ice time right away. They have some extra $$ to give the kid. Maybe less pressure. Easy NE travel. It looks as good a fit as anywhere else to me
