2004 - 2008 NHL Draft
LW - Johannes Salmonsson
D - Brendan Mikkelson
C - Tomas Kana
D - T.J. Brennan
Historically, the 31st pick hasn't had great success. Just some food for thought if you believe in this kinda thing. Hopefully it turns around this year.
When all is said and done I'll be extremely surprised if we actually do indeed pick at 31 and not before then. This draft is extremely good and there are some future building blocks in here. I think Martin will get us into the first round.
I can't believe you put all that together! I think this year it's a pretty deep draft so we might be able to get someone who can be a decent contributor. We got Huselius in the 2nd round & I believe Kreps was as well.
All that means nothing. It's just an anomaly. I don't believe in superstition. Mikkelson and Brennan should become good defensemen in the NHL, as CanadianPantherFan alluded to.

Dude, comeon man. Some people like this stuff which is why I did it. I clearly pointed that out in my post.
Im not trolling if thats what you think. You know this is like my home away from home on my board.
Im saying you guys should move up
With all the talk about it I thought id point it out haha.
I know you're not a troll, and I appreciate all the input you've given us over the year with regards to Matthias. That's why I was so surprised to see you post that, I guess I just misinterpreted what you were trying to say.
Maybe we can get help from the best scouting team in all of sports, Tha Marlins scout team. Then we would have the upper hand for sure and that would guarantee we picked a stud instead of a dud with that 31st.
