Maybe. Nonetheless, Martin McGuire is not one to make up crap or try to pass a rumor as an official fact.

Relax guys it's pityful... we'll not know what happens until we hear the 6pm show of TSN tonight.

CKAC is just good at making crap and are less reliable than HockeyTradeRumors.com.

Don't listen to them, it's just good to make all of us go crazy.

I hope we don't sacrifice our first pick for the rights of Sundin

Why can't we just signed him "for free", on first july...

If he signs with Toronto before that date, we'll spend our money on someone else

So you're not concerned about the possibility of acquiring a player who is not certain about his playing future in the first place?

we would not move a first for Sundin unless we already had an agreement with him, and we do know Montreal has been talking to him for the last 24 hours.

McGuire is pretty reliable.

Still, we got some U20 news right now on CKAC. They are either verifying their information or burying the fact they ever said that

Please....it depends on who at CKAC comes with the rumours. Martin McGuire is the play by play guy...follows the team everyday. He's verry credible.

No he was on just a few moments before. And the title of this thread is misleading. "McGuire said 'Word is' that Montreal dosent have it's first rounder anymore" No one came out and said anything is done. During the time I have listened.

I know...but from what I understand, Sundin is unsure about his playing future.

Meaning, he doesn't know where he wants to play and if he wants to play.

Not sure I want a player who is not sure whether or not he even wants to play in the NHL in the coming year.

Man...I keep going back and forth on Sundin. Yesterday, I was dead set on not seeing Sundin in a Habs uniform, this morning, that changed...but as of 20 mins ago, I went back to not wanting him in Montreal again...

Report: Habs No Longer Have First Rounder

Maybe Trevor Timmons forgot it at Julie Couillard's house over the weekend.
